STAFFORDSHIRE UNIVERSITY ACADEMY - Key Persons
Going into my final year of academic study at the academy i have been lucky enough to be selected head boy for the second year running. In the time I have life I intend to direct all my efforts towards improving last years efforts and I wish to play an integral role in the academy's development before I leave. When I leave my ambition is to study sports journalism at university. The school has fully supported me in striving to achieve this, through numerous university visits, as well as work experience. Being a recipient of such amazing opportunities has reinforced my view that as leaders of the school we must try to replicate these opportunities as best as we can for the rest of the school. It is incredibly important to us that we can contribute towards constructing an enjoyable yet still productive framework that enables all students at our academy to ‘aspire, believe and achieve'.
I applied to be Head Girl in SUA6 so i could spark change in the academy and to solve important issues as they arise. I am delighted to have been chosen for this role, and so far, it has been incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. I'm particularly pleased that it has allowed me to build my confidence in public speaking and be the voice for my classmates in sixth form, also to be a friendly face the younger years in Team SUA can speak to.
