We are a community centre with facilities for almost every size and type of event: conferences, clubs, training, meetings and sport. The Centre is owned by the Isabella Community Association and managed by a dedicated committee of local users. The Association was formed in 1989 with the aim of improving the life of local inhabitants, advancing education and providing facilities for social welfare and leisure. For thirteen years youth clubs, playschemes and social evenings were held from a community flat and pavillion. The Community and Training Centre was opened in 2003 after a need was identified through local forums and consultations from 1999 onwards. Funding and support for the project came from a variety of sources - local, national and European.
