Job Titles:

Amie is one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN) who joined us in June 2021. Amie qualified as an RVN in 2016 and spent a few years working as an emergency and critical care nurse at night. In practice she enjoys working in the laboratory and wound management.
Outside of work you will mostly find Amie out in a field metal detecting, gaming with friends or curled up on the couch with her unruly dogs Lady and Dixie.

Charlotte is one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses. She has been working at Anchorage since September 2014 and qualified as an RVN in August 2017. Charlotte thoroughly enjoys all sides of nursing, particularly being in Theatre and caring for patients post operatively. Since qualifying Charlotte has also trained as a bereavement support advisor.
She has two dogs, Teddy a cocker spaniel, and Phoebe a Tibetan terrier. In her spare time she loves to take them on long walks to the beach with her two little girls Georgia and Poppy.

Kara has been working at Anchorage since June 2008 and began her vet nurse training in September 2010. Kara qualified as an RVN in April 2014 and has since become a clinical coach, assisting with training of student vet nurses. Kara enjoys carrying out lab work and diagnostics.
In her spare time she enjoys socialising with her friends and listening to music. Kara has a long-haired cat called Amina, who was rescued from The Cats Protection League and has a heart condition but still acts like a lunatic.

Kerry joined the team here at Anchorage in March 2022 after 28 years working in the dental healthcare industry. She was ready for a new challenge so when the opportunity arose to join anchorage Kerry was thrilled. As an existing client she was well aware of how fantastic the team here at Anchorage are and since joining has really benefitted from a better work life balance she was struggling to find in her previous company.
In her spare time Kerry enjoys spending time with her family, swimming with her daughter Paige and relaxing with a good book.

Leah is one of our reception team here at Anchorage, She joined us in February 2022 when she was looking for a new challenge which incorporated her love of animals. Before joining the team Leah completed her business administration NVQ level 3 course.
In her spare time Leah plays guitar and perform in a local theatre company. She also loves to spend time with her Poodle Ralph, who she is quite sure is part human!
Marlon has been working at the Anchorage since 2007, initially for one day a week work experience for two years for the BTEC national diploma in animal management. He then joined the team full-time in 2009 as a trainee veterinary nurse and qualified as a registered nurse in 2015.
Marlon and his wife have a cat called Amina who is very mischievous and fluffy and a cornsnake called Loki who is very laid back and friendly but does like to try and escape occasionally! Marlon's other interests include art and music - he loves all types of rock and blues and his favourite band is Muse. Marlon has also taught himself to play guitar.
Nikki is one of our receptionists, she joined our team in November 2020. Before joining our team she was one of our clients with her previous Tibetan terrier. After the COVID-19 pandemic gave her a reason to change career she leaped at the chance to join our team and to be involved with the excellent service she had received in the past. Nikki is loving the challenge and continued learning which comes with her job role.
She has a beautiful (yet mischievous) black Labrador named Daisy, who sometimes accompanies her to the practice.

Paige is a veterinary nurse student who joined the Anchorage team in January 2019. She is currently studying at Easton and Otley College and enjoys it very much. Paige enjoys all aspects of the role especially holding the animals to help the vets. Paige has two cats of her own, called Nova and Aida, and she loves playing with and fussing them. Paige also enjoys reading, watching Netflix and baking in her spare time.
Serena has been part of the Anchorage Vet team since 2009. She graduated from the University of Perugia, Italy in 2004 and is currently studying for a postgraduate certificate in small animal internal medicine. Her interests include abdominal ultrasound and laboratory diagnostics.

Sophie joined Anchorage as a member of our reception team in August 2017. She previously worked in a medical centre but has always had a passion for animals so when the opportunity arose for her to work within a Veterinary practice she was thrilled and has taken to the role greatly.
In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog Roxie and playing bowls.
Tracee attended the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicines at Tufts University in Massachusetts. She moved to England in 2003 as a newly qualified veterinary surgeon, having previously lived in Bermuda, Canada and the United States. After several years in general practice she joined the night team at a busy hospital in Brighton, where she worked for seven years providing out of hours services for a large number of practices across Essex. In 2015, she returned to the general practice (and daytime work) in order to enjoy more time with her young family, although she still has a passion for emergency and critical care. At the end of 2018 Tracee and her family relocated to Norfolk to enjoy a more outdoor lifestyle. In her free time you will probably find Tracee at the beach with her two children and yellow Labrador, Cooper.
Victoria is one of our nursing team and joined us as a second year student veterinary nurse in July 2022. She is studying at Dick white academy and has a particular interest in surgical nursing.
When she isn't working or studying, she enjoys long walks with her naughty terriers, Yohji & Kozo.
Zoe joined the Anchorage team at the beginning of October 2018. She started her career within the veterinary industry in 2013 and loves all aspects of the job with a particular interest in anaesthetics, long term care of patients and lab work. She enjoys looking after all the animals that we have come into the practice and getting to know our clients.
Outside of work, Zoe enjoys performing in musical shows with her local theatre company and taking care of her Border Collie, Kovu along with her cats and rabbit.
