is Managing Partner at Caspian Legal Center. Farid Nabili received his legal education at Baku State University (LL.B, 2007) and Central European University (LL.M, 2008), his academic research topics covered the fields of comparative law. He worked as a legal officer and manager in a group of private companies and state institutions, including as the head of the tax legislation improvement department at the Ministry of Taxes of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He initiated and participated in the introduction of a number of international taxation concepts and methods into the current Tax Code (in particular, transfer pricing, Tax Free regime, advance rulings, general rule against tax evasion).
Farid Nabili is a member of the Azerbaijan Bar Association, the International Bar Association and the European Institute of Corporate Governance. His articles on tax law have been published in the annual reports of the International Bar Association's Tax Committee where he is a Tax Reporter from Azerbaijan, as well as in Bloomberg Tax and other international publications. He is author of Tax Law book (Istanbul, Bilnet, 2023). He has also been teaching law at a number of local universities since 2012. Currently, he is teaching tax law and international tax law courses at Baku State University for English-speaking group.
His areas of specialization are corporate law, tax law, construction law, finance and banking law.
Fidan Najafova is Communications Officer at Caspian Legal Center. In 2023, she graduated from the International Marketing Management faculty of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. She studied Digital Marketing through the "Technest Scholarship Program" established under the Innovation and Digital Development agency at the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. After that, working in various business forms, she deeply mastered the modern branches of marketing. Fidan Najafova is distinguished by her skills in special fields such as SEO, SEM, SMM.
Firangiz Haydarova is Tax Manager at Caspian Legal Center. She received her bachelor degree from Azerbaijan State University of Economics. She is the student of ACCA and has passed Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Performance Management qualifications successfully. Moreover, she has the Professional Accountant Certificate issued by the Government. Firangiz Haydarova has practiced as a tax consultant for several local companies. She is an experienced tax manager with extensive interest and knowledge in finance and accounting, as well as in audit and tax issues. She is expert on Double Taxation Treaties, Transfer Pricing and Product-Sharing Agreements.
İbrahim works as an accountant at Caspian Legal Center. He received his bachelor's degree in finance at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, and is currently receiving his master's degree in the field of economics at this university. Before joining Caspian Legal Center, he was trained by Kapital Bank. He holds international certificates in ACCA Financial Accounting and Bloomberg Market Concepts.
He is a Partner at Caspian Legal Center. He is a graduate of Baku State University and has worked for several ministries and a local law firm in Baku. Mr. Yusifov possesses great experience in corporate, employment and immigration matters. Being a former diplomat he is also responsible for foreign relations of the Caspian Legal Center
Jeyhun Khalilov, a member of the CLC team since 2021, graduated from the Baku State University Law Faculty (in English). Prior to joining CLC, Jeyhun gained experience in various government and commercial institutions. During his university years, he participated in international and national moot court and legal competitions, achieving success, and also served as the editor-in-chief of the Baku State University Law Review.
Kamal Guliyev is a senior tax accountant with 7 years of experience. He earned his bachelor's degree from Azerbaijan State University of Economics. Before joining CLC, Kamal worked as a tax and accounting specialist in various industries. He has extensive experience in finance, accounting, tax, and labor matters. Kamal Guliyev holds a Professional Accountant Certificate in International Financial Reporting Standards. He's a trusted accountant at CLC, guiding clients through complex financial and tax situations.
Laman Karimli, a senior tax accountant at Caspian Legal Center, holds both bachelor's and master's degrees from Azerbaijan State Economic University. She has six years of experience mainly in tax and accounting consulting. In 2022, Laman Karimli obtained the Professional Accountant Certificate on International Financial Reporting Standards. She has received extensive knowledge and experience in the fields of finance, taxation, and accounting by working in various consulting companies.
Nigar Guliyeva is a recent graduate from the law faculty of Sabah Groups in Baku State University. During her academic journey, she has not only maintained high academic performance but has also been actively engaged in extracurricular activities outside of the university. She has participated in a variety of events and projects organized by both local and international institutions, as well as in summer schools. At the same time, Nigar Guliyeva participated in a number of court competitions and won the "2023 Khoyski Mediation Court Competition" organized by the Student Scientific Society of Baku State University, also "Elachi" scholarship program by Pasha Holding. Nigar Guliyeva is a highly motivated and promising future professional.
Orkhan Beydiyev is a Legal manager at Caspian Legal Center. He received a bachelor's degree from Baku State University, a master's degree (LLM) in Corporate and commercial law from Queen Mary University (winner of Chevening Scholarship) in London, and an MBA from Azerbaijan University. O. Beydiev has 15 years of experience in corporate and related legal fields. He worked as a head of department in the Ministry of Economy, as well as in local law firms. Currently, O. Beydiyev is a member of the Azerbaijan Bar Association and mainly specializes in the areas of corporate law, labor law, financial and administrative law.
Pari Gasimli is a Senior Legal Associate at Caspian Legal Center. She received her Bachelor's degree in Law from Baku State University in 2017. She has been a member of the Azerbaijani Bar Association since 2021. Ms. Gasimli has more than 6 years of experience at CLC and has gained practical experience in corporate set-up, share transfer, restructuring, liquidation and bankruptcy of legal entities in Azerbaijan. She is skilled in client communication and legal research issues in diverse legal areas such as employment and immigration law, family law, construction law, and company and corporate law.
Sona Abdullayeva is Legal Associate at Caspian Legal Center. She completed her studies at Baku State University faculty of Law in the English sector and joined the Caspian Legal Center in 2022. She is active in areas such as contract law and labor law. She has a promising and distinguished personality in the market with her accuracy and research ability. She also participated in advanced online and offline trainings in those fields.
