Dr. Matthew Sugalski

Dr. Matthew Sugalski is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Sports Medicine. He has extensive subspecialty training in joint replacements, shoulder and knee surgery, arthroscopy and limb salvage procedures. Dr. Sugalski has a special interest in total knee replacements and is one of the few surgeons specially trained in MAKO robotic assisted surgeries. He is committed to excellence and our community, treating patients at Summit Medical Center, Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital, StoneCrest Medical Center, and Southern Hills Medical Center. He began his training with an undergraduate degree mechanical engineering at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. As an engineer, he designed jet airplane and helicopter engines, before moving on to study medicine at Columbia University in New York City. Dr. Sugalski remained at Columbia to complete a residency in Orthopedic Surgery. While at Columbia, he devoted one year to the research of shoulder anatomy and biomechanics resulting in numerous scientific publications in the orthopedic literature. He has presented his research to other specialists in his field at numerous national medical conferences. Following his residency, Dr. Sugalski completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine in Minneapolis, MN. There he enjoyed the privilege of working with the team doctors of the Minnesota Vikings (NFL), Twins (MLB), Timberwolves (NBA), Wild (NHL), and Lynx (WNBA). Dr. Sugalski was a competitive rower in college and has continued to enjoy sportsmanship and the great outdoors. He has made two transcontinental bicycle trips, traversing both the United States and the outback of northern Australia. He loves living and working in the greater Nashville area and continues to enjoy biking, running, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Scott Dube

Dr. Scott Dube is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement, sports medicine, and general orthopedic conditions including fractures strains and sprains. His areas of expertise include operative and non-operative treatment of injuries and painful musculoskeletal conditions. His surgical expertise include minimally invasive arthroscopic treatment of shoulder, knee and ankle injuries as well as total joint replacement of the shoulder, knee, and hip. He is also passionate about using cutting edge, non-surgical options such as stem cell and platelet-rich plasma injections for relief of chronic pain. Dr. Dube is a native of Middle Tennessee having grown up in the suburbs of Nashville. He is a graduate of David Lipscomb University and East Tennessee State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Louisville. He started his orthopedic practice in his hometown of Hermitage, TN where he continues to practice.
