As DUGS is a student run society, we are made up of a 9 person elected Executive Committee this year. As a dynamic society, we are always open for suggestions on improvements or new ideas that we can implement in order to expand the society. This year in particular, we are looking to partner with a few other linked academic societies within Durham in order to allow our members to have the full experience of the all-encompassing nature of Geography... We are a student run society for Durham students interested in Geography and the multiple disciplines that are entwined within the subject. By hosting a wide variety of academic and social events throughout the academic year, we allow students to share experiences and extend friendships beyond the lecture theatre.
