Following the announcement from our Government regarding remote learning and their expectations of schools across the country we have to ensure we provide pupils with a minimum of three hours of home learning in EYFS and Key Stage One and four hours of home learning in Key Stage Two for each school day... As a result of this our staff have worked incredibly hard to ensure as a school we are providing quality materials in various subject areas to minimise the gap in learning opportunities... At Elsecar we have learning and high standards at the heart of all we do. We encourage all our children to achieve the best they can across every area of school, from the rich and broad curriculum to the wide range of extra-curricular activities.
