Nick is the Founder and President of Compassionate Counsel, a 501(c)(3) Christian legal aid ministry (www.compassionatecounsel.org). Compassionate Counsel serves as an access to legal resources in multiple locations in and around Nashville. Compassionate Counsel hosted its first ministry clinic in January 2012, and to date, the ministry's volunteers have served hundreds. Nick serves as a committee member for the Tennessee Supreme Court Access to Justice Commission's Faith-Based Initiative Committee and is a member of the Christian Legal Society, Tennessee Bar Association, and State Bar of Texas. Nick is a Partner at Fidelis Law. He is licensed to practice in both Tennessee and Texas, as well as admitted to the United States District Courts for the Middle District and Western District of Tennessee; however, he currently serves as a full-time Executive Pastor of a local church where he assists with administration, discipleship, preaching, and teaching. Although he has served clients with a variety of legal needs for more than 15 years, due to his schedule as an Executive Pastor, he now handles selected estate planning, probate, non-profit/church law, automobile/personal injury cases, and contractual matters.

Parker T. Brown

Parker is an Associate at the law firm, having passed the Tennessee Bar in 2016. Parker practices in the area of estate planning, probate, church and nonprofit institutions, collections, business planning and formation, and business litigation. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and Nashville Bar Association. Parker was born and raised in Eustis, Florida before moving to Nashville to attend college. Parker earned his Juris Doctorate and graduated with honors from Belmont University College of Law. While at Belmont, Parker competed in the National Healthcare Moot Court Competition and was a Submissions Editor for Belmont's Law Review. During his time at Belmont, Parker also worked as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Chief Justice Jeffrey S. Bivins of the Tennessee Supreme Court. Parker's undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Law, Justice, & Society from Lipscomb University. Parker and his wife, Caroline, have one son and live in Franklin, Tennessee. Caroline is a Victim Witness Coordinator for the Davidson County District Attorney's Office, working primarily with victims and witnesses of violent crimes. Parker and Caroline are active members of Church of the City in Franklin. Parker enjoys spending time with family and friends.
