Ryan has extensive experience litigating on behalf of both employees and employers facing complex employment issues in state and federal court, including discrimination and harassment claims, contracts and covenants not to compete, wage and hour claims, whistleblower claims, EEO claims and EEOC charges. Ryan has appeared in front of the Indiana Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Ryan served as Chair of the Indiana State Bar Association Employment, Labor & Benefits Law Section in 2015-2016, and he regularly speaks on employment related issues. Ryan was nominated as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2013 and as a Super Lawyer in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Ryan is a graduate of Purdue University and the University of Dayton School of Law. Since commencing the practice of law in 2007, Ryan has been nominated a Super Lawyers Rising Star numerous times, and was a member of the Labor and Employment Committee for the Indianapolis Bar Association for years. Ryan prides himself on his strong work ethic, creative thinking, and aggressive advocacy. Notable cases include Green v. Hendricks County and Individual Support Home Health v. Abbott et al.
