Business owner, Scott Walker has lived in Fredericksburg for over 50 years. He has degrees in history and education from the University of Virginia and is recognized in this area as a trained and knowledgeable historian, lecturer, preservationist, and tourguide.
In August, 2011, the Tourmaster was talking about Historic Preservation to a local group. As he finished, he asked the standard, "Are there any questions?" At that moment, Virginia experienced a 5.9 level earthquake. Thus, locals say, "When Scott Walker speaks, the earth moves!"
