Hi there, my name is Mark and I have lived and travelled and loved Africa for more than 50 years. I spent a period of my life in Madagascar where I thoroughly learnt the business of gemstones and it has been an absolute passion ever since. I have been collecting and trading in Gemstones for more than 25 years and have acquired an extensive understanding about them. There are some truly remarkable African gemstones representing all the colours of the rainbow. Although Tanzanite and Diamonds are probably some of the most well known precious stones in Africa there are other awesome stones such as Winza ruby from Tanzania, world class Emerald from Zambia, Tourmaline from Namibia and Nigeria, and stunning garnets in an array of colours from Mali, Kenya and Namibia to mention but a few... Obviously Africa is not the only continent with beautiful stones so I have also developed contacts on other continents to do trade with for example I love the Peridots and Spinels from Burma and the Opals..
