Alfred Schlesinger - Chief Legal Officer

Mr. Schlesinger has been a music business attorney for over 45 years. Prior to becoming an attorney, he had his own record and music publishing companies. Mr. Schlesinger was the personal manager of the recording and performing group Bread, and has written articles for the Beverly Hills Bar Association Journal, the National Academy of Songwriters (of which he is a founding member), the Association of International Entertainment Attorneys (of which he is a charter member), and various educational institutions throughout the United States. He has also taught courses on the music business and has been a guest lecturer and panelist for many educational institutions and music-oriented organizations. Mr. Schlesinger is a past president of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) and past two-term national chairman of the board of said academy. He is a past recipient of Billboard Magazine's award for Entertainment Attorney of the Year. A first-class bon vivant, he was honored with the Entertainment Law Initiative (ELI) Service Award during the 2006 GRAMMY® Week festivities.

Ami Blackwell founded boutique PR agency SpinDrift Media & Entertainment in 2001 by writing bios and marketing materials to help promote local musicians, authors, organizations and hospitality clients in the Houston/Gulf Coast area. Anita Long is Producer / Founder of the Ink Spots Museum and Long Films Studio in Houston, TX. The museum is dedicated to the memory of her father, legendary guitar jazz musician Huey Long, the last surviving member of the original Ink Spots. The museum is a jewel and hosts much of Long's personal memorabilia. Long lived to be a 105 years young. The museum serves as a springboard for a community-based musical oral history project showcasing Houston's rich contributions to music history. For her work, Anita has been awarded medals by the Smithsonian Institute, Permanent Research Collection housed at the National Museum of American History. She is also published in the Library of Congress. Examples of Anita's work are in more than 30 museums and libraries around the country. Through Long Films Studio, she launched a campaign for the Texas Lyme Disease Association which included the organization's first public service announcement and a short film focusing on the heartbreaking stories of undiagnosed lyme disease in Texas. A feature length documentary is in the works. Anita is also the Houston President of Women in Film & Television an international professional organization dedicated to empowering women in the industry. She currently has several other short films and documentaries in various stages of development and production. She is a producer and documentary filmmaker, consultant, publicist and digital media consultant working primarily with music in the entertainment industry and non-for profit sectors.

Stephen Lurie is Executive Director of the National Association of Record Industry Professionals New York chapter. He is also founder and president of Music Without Borders, LLC, a music business solutions company consulting with record labels, talented recording artists, music retailers, libraries, music supervisors and directors of film and television. With over 20 years experience in the music industry and one of the largest private music collections in the country, his expertise and encyclopedic knowledge of music and recordings have helped him create a niche as a sought-after specialist. Mr. Lurie has worked in the music business as a retailer, wholesaler, performer, professor, producer, concert promoter and music columnist. As VP and co-owner of Al Franklin's Musical World in Greenwich, Connecticut, he helped build this taste-maker business into one of the finest and most highly-regarded record and audio stores in the country. With an acute awareness of consumer preferences and an innate sense of what makes a hit, he helped break dozens of new artists in a key music market. From 2003 until of 2005. Dubbed "International Music Ambassador" by music supervisor P.J. Bloom (the Glee franchise, CSI: Miami, and now SVP of Film & TV Music at Warner Bros. Records), and "a tour de force" by music supervisor Thomas Golubić (Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Ray Donovan, Six Feet Under), Ms. Taylor works with international music associations to connect their members to opportunities in major US music markets. Ms. Taylor is a vigorous defender of intellectual property rights and has lectured throughout the U.S. and around the world in 13 countries to date, including at the Harvard Business School, in Berlin, Bangalore and elsewhere. Ms. Taylor is also President of the LA Music Network (LAMN.com, est. 1988) and creator of the LAMN Jam Music Contests which launched the Mowglis who won in 2011. Winnie Jow launched her music business career at the Los Angeles Music Network (LAMN.com) and the National Association of Record Industry Professionals (NARIP.com) in 2005 where she helped to develop marketing partnerships with music companies in the greater Los Angeles area. Ms. Jow co-produced the LAMN Jam Music Contest series in Hollywood, California. An "Original American Idol," LAMN Jams enable songwriters to hone their craft by performing original works and getting live feedback from a panel of industry professionals. Songwriters who won the LAMN Jam have gone on to write Billboard Top 100 Hits and have win several Grammy Awards. In 2007, Warner/Chappell Music, Inc. recruited Ms. Jow to negotiate agreements and draft synchronization licenses for legendary songwriters including George and Ira Gershwin, Michael Jackson, Green Day, and Katy Perry. She administered over 2,500 contracts before leaving to pursue a law degree. After graduating with a Juris Doctor degree from Western State College of Law in 2015, Ms. Jow has been promoting the interests of copyright holders and helping to uphold and protect intellectual property rights across the US, Europe, and Asia.
