Jessica has been working as an attorney at law since 2001. She is one of the founding partners of Ovidius. Previously, she was a partner at another niche firm. Before that, she worked at one of the ‘Magic Circle' law firms and at a major Dutch law firm. Before her career as an attorney at law, she was a university lecturer and a legal counsel at a telecommunications company. Jessica specializes in employment law and has extensive experience in the medtech, retail and recruitment and selection industry.
Jessica is also an MfN certified mediator. MfN mediators are examined and qualified mediators. The MfN register is the Dutch quality register of mediators. Jessica specializes in employment disputes and commercial disputes.

Matthijs has been working at Ovidius since February 2022, first as paralegal, and currently as legal officer. In June 2022, he graduated from his law studies, majoring in employment law, at the University of Amsterdam. Matthijs' main focus is employment law.

Before that, he worked for many years at a major Dutch law firm. Sjoerd specializes in employment law, and has extensive experience in retail, IT and healthcare. In addition to being an attorney at law, Sjoerd is a member of the advisory board of an international professional association in healthcare.
