Alexander A. Wiegel

Alexander Wiegel's practice focuses on general and complex commercial litigation, business law, distressed investments, and data privacy and security. Mr. Wiegel joined Perry Johnson Anderson Miller & Moskowitz LLP in April 2022 as part of its complex litigation and distressed investments practice group. Working within that group, Mr. Wiegel represents clients in Sonoma County and around the country. Mr. Wiegel also represents clients in data privacy and security matters, including matters of data breach investigation and legal compliance, and holds a CIPP/US (Certified Information Privacy Professional - US) Certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Burton H. Fohrman - Chief Legal Officer

Mr. Fohrman practices in the areas of real estate, business and international transactions. Mr. Fohrman has represented many major US and foreign corporations on real estate and business transactions throughout the US, Europe and Asia. Mr. Fohrman was a partner in two of the world's largest law firms; Jones Day where he was the chair of the general real estate section on a world-wide basis. In 1992 he became a partner in White & Case. During his years with those firms Mr. Fohrman was a resident partner in Los Angeles, London, Hanoi and Tokyo. In Japan, Mr. Fohrman was licensed to practice law as a foreign lawyer (gaikokuho jimu bengoshi). Mr. Fohrman returned to his home in Sonoma County in 2003 and subsequently joined Perry Johnson. Mr. Fohrman is active in representing a number of companies and individuals in the wine industry in Napa and Sonoma Counties and several public corporations on transactions in California, other states and internationally. Mr. Fohrman has practiced law since 1964 and during his practice he has represented major publicly held corporations , professional organizations and government entities on a wide variety of transactions. Many transactions involved large scale real estate developments, business transactions and financings in the US and foreign countries. Mr. Fohrman received a bachelor's degree in 1960 from the University of Southern California and a Juris Doctor degree in 1963 from the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Fohrman is the former chair of the Real Property Section of the California Bar Association, the founder and first editor of the California Real Property Journal (published by the California State Bar), former chair of the Real Property Finance Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Mr. Fohrman was the editor in chief of the International Law Journal (published by the California State Bar). He is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and has lectured on legal and international topics at Universities, Bar Associations and public forums. Mr. Fohrman has served on the boards of a number of nonprofit organizations. Mr. Fohrman was named as a Super Lawyer for 2010.

Chad O. Dorr

Mr. Dorr joined PJAMM in 2018. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Jones Day, where he was a part of the firm's international trade and national security practice. In that role, he advised U.S. and foreign corporations on a wide variety of regulatory matters, such as the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and U.S. economic sanctions laws administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Mr. Dorr practices in the areas of business and real estate transactions, and estate planning. David F. Beach

Isaac M. Gradman

Isaac Gradman is a partner in the firm's litigation department, concentrating his practice on complex financial litigation and commercial disputes across several practice areas, including civil litigation, structured finance and distressed investments, trusts and estates litigation, securities, and business law. Isaac Gradman is one of the nation's leading legal experts in structured finance and distressed investment disputes, with particular expertise in residential mortgage-backed securities ("RMBS") litigation and other legal issues stemming from the mortgage crisis. Mr. Gradman has represented some of the country's largest hedge funds, investment managers, monoline insurance companies and mortgage insurers in high-stakes litigation and transactions involving RMBS, CDOs and whole loan purchases, and has negotiated settlements of disputes leading to recoveries of over $1 billion dollars in the aggregate. He has represented clients in RMBS Trust Instruction Proceedings nationwide, including in California, Minnesota and New York. He leverages that experience into a sophisticated trust and probate litigation practice in Sonoma County and the greater Bay Area, in which Mr. Gradman represents both estates and beneficiaries in all types of trust disputes. Experience After completing a two-year federal clerkship, Mr. Gradman practiced as a commercial litigator at Arnold & Porter (formerly Howard Rice) in San Francisco. He was involved in some of the earliest litigation arising from the subprime mortgage crisis, including the representation of PMI Mortgage Insurance Co. in a 2007 suit against WMC Mortgage Corp. and its parent, GE Money Bank, over misrepresentations relating to a $1 billion pool of subprime mortgages. In 2008, Mr. Gradman launched, "The Subprime Shakeout," the first law blog devoted to mortgage crisis legal issues from an investor and insurer perspective. He has since become a thought leader and expert practitioner in this space, having been quoted and cited in leading publications around the country, and having represented many of the most active investors and insurers in their efforts to hold accountable the banks and other deal parties who originated, underwrote, sold, serviced and/or administered the massive numbers of defective mortgage loans financed between 2005 and 2007. Mr. Gradman speaks frequently on these issues and has published numerous articles and a book on the causes of and proposed solutions to the mortgage crisis entitled, "Way Too Big to Fail: How Government and Private Industry Can Build a Fail-Safe Mortgage System," for which Mr. Gradman served as Editor. At Perry Johnson, Mr. Gradman has assisted dozens of investors in negotiating direction and indemnity agreements with RMBS trustees, including initiating numerous mortgage repurchase or "putback" cases, forcing large banks to buy back defective mortgage loans that were originated or sold in breach of their underwriting guidelines and/or their representations and warranties. Mr. Gradman has also assisted investors and insurers in compelling RMBS Trustees to pursue claims against the servicers who were obligated to mitigate bondholder losses. He has served as counsel for investors in Article 77 proceedings in New York concerning the proper distribution of multi-billion dollar settlements of RMBS-related claims against Countrywide, Bank of America, and JPMorgan. Where RMBS Trustees have refused to honor their duties to investors, Mr. Gradman has brought direct actions against Trustees on behalf of investors in venues across the country, including several actions currently pending against some of the largest custodial banks in the country, seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages. Education and Memberships Mr. Gradman received his B.A. in Political and Social Thought with Highest Distinction in 2002 from the University of Virginia, where he was a Jefferson Scholar, an Echols Scholar and a member of the Raven Honor Society. Michael E. Tracht

Michael E. Tracht is part of the firm's litigation group, focusing on complex commercial disputes, structured-finance and securities litigation, and trust and estate matters. His clients have come from a wide variety of industries and have ranged from individuals and small businesses to some of the largest companies in the world. He was named a Rising Star in Business Litigation by Super Lawyers every year from 2020 through 2023. Michael G. Miller

Mr. Miller worked as a police officer for nearly ten years on the San Francisco Peninsula. While attending Empire College School of Law at night, he started a successful legal research business, providing legal research to over 30 attorneys. He is a founding partner of Perry, Johnson, Anderson, Miller & Moskowitz, and was previously a partner with the firm of Senneff, Kelly, Kimelman & Miller. Scott A. Lewis

Ms. Craig joined Perry, Johnson, Anderson, Miller & Moskowitz, LLP in January, 2006 after relocating to California from the State of Arizona. She was admitted to the California Bar on June 2, 2006. Ms. Craig practices exclusively in the area of family law. Her practice includes both litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and collaborative law. She has served as a Settlement Conference Panelist in family law matters in the Sonoma County Superior Court since June 2009. Ms. Craig is the mom of two young daughters and the step-mom of teenage twins. William D. Anderson
