Allen Sinor - Chairman, VP

Allen Sinor is Vice President, Global Accounts (ExxonMobil), for Baker Hughes and brings 30+ years of experience in drilling research and development. Allen previously worked as Vice President, Drill Bits; Vice President, Technology; Director, Applications Engineering; and Director, Drilling Research. Prior to joining Baker Hughes, Allen spent 14 years at Amoco's research center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, focusing on their Critical Drilling Facility and on the disciplines of drilling mechanics and downhole tools. He also has considerable well planning experience, from working in Norway, Egypt, Trinidad, Gulf of Mexico and U.S. Land critical projects. Notable accomplishments include building and staffing of the Baker Hughes Experimental Test facility (BETA), the industry's only fully functional field research facility dedicated to cross-product-line testing and development. Sinor has contributed to 23 technical papers and 24 U.S. patents. He has been a Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Distinguished Lecturer and has served on numerous SPE, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and American Association of Drilling Engineers (AADE) committees. Industry recognition includes two Meritorious Engineering Awards from Hart's E&P magazine, four World Oil awards for product innovation, SPE Drilling and Completion Best Paper of the Year, U.S. National Committee for Rock Mechanics Case History Research Award and was recipient of the 2010 SPE Drilling Engineering Award. Sinor earned his degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa.

Chris Jacobsen

Chris Jacobsen is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Premier Natural Resources, an independent oil and gas company formed after the January 2006 acquisition of Vintage Petroleum by Occidental Petroleum. Prior to forming Premier, Chris was Vice President of U.S. Operations and Exploitation for Vintage, having joined them in 2002. Since 1992, Chris has served as either Vice President or Sr. Vice President with Vintage Petroleum, KCS Energy, and Medallion Production Company. While in these positions, he maintained oversight of certain acquisition, exploration, exploitation and production teams. Before relocating to Tulsa in 1992, Chris was Sr. Vice President with Netherland, Sewell and Associates, Inc. where he worked on or supervised engineering and geologic/geophysical teams during his 12 year tenure. Chris began his career with Exxon Company, USA in 1977, having graduated with honors as a B.S. Chemical Engineer and an Economics minor from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, IN. During his five years with Exxon, he held various engineering and supervisory responsibilities with an emphasis on reservoir engineering in the Louisiana Gulf Coast and offshore Gulf of Mexico. In addition to his professional career, Chris has served in various capacities in the community including Mayor Pro Tem/City Councilman of Sachse, TX (Dallas County) and Member of the Dallas County Mobility Coalition for Thoroughfare Development in the Dallas Metroplex, as an adult leader and member of the Friends of Scouts Committee for the Tulsa Council of Boy Scouts of America and as Junior Achievement Counselor. Currently, he sits on The University of Tulsa's Petroleum Engineering Industry Advisory Board and serves as a Board Member of the BSA Indian Nations Council.

Chuck Horsman

Chuck Horsman is Sr. Manager Production Engineering, Exploration and Strategic Services at Devon Energy. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa (TU) in 1981. After college Mr. Horsman worked for Cities Service and Occidental Petroleum as an operations and production engineer in the Rocky Mountain and Mid-Continent regions. He joined Devon Energy in 1991 and has held positions of increasing responsibility including Engineering and Operations manager roles in the Permian Basin and Rocky Mountain regions. Mr. Horsman serves as the Sr. Manager of Operations Excellence for Devon Energy. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and serves as a member on TU's McDougall School of Petroleum Engineering Industry Advisory Board.

Ed Behm

Ed Behm has 34 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, 33 of them with Occidental Oil and Gas. Ed is currently Director of Planning and Evaluation for Permian Resources, part of Oxy USA Inc. a subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum Corporation. Ed has spent his career mostly in managing mature oil field redevelopment and improved oil recovery applications in the US and overseas. In addition to various domestic and international operating area assignments, he was a director in the Oxy corporate financial planning and analysis department, director of reserves for Occidental Oil and Gas Corporation, and an assistant to executive worldwide operations management. Ed received his BS in petroleum engineering from The University of Tulsa (TU) in 1980 and currently serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the TU McDougall Scholl of Petroleum Engineering. He also received his executive MBA from University of Michigan in 1997. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and was a director of the Permian Basin and San Joaquin Valley SPE sections. He has been a member of the Permian Basin Petroleum Association and was General Chairman of the 1998 Permian Basin Oil and Gas Recovery Conference (PBOGRC). Ed has also served on the executive committee of California Independent Petroleum Association (CIPA) and as a Lobbyist in Alaska in 1995. Ed is a professional petroleum engineer registered in the state of California since 1984.

John Lindsay

John Lindsay is President and CEO for Helmerich & Payne, Inc. He graduated in 1986 from The University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering. Mr. Lindsay joined Helmerich & Payne International Drilling Co., the Company's wholly-owned drilling subsidiary, in 1987 and began his career with the Company as a drilling engineer. He has since served in various positions, including Operations Manager from 1992 to 1997, Vice President, U.S. Land Operations from 1997 to March 1, 2006, and Executive Vice President, U.S. and International Operations from March 1, 2006 to December 7, 2010. Mr. Lindsay held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the parent Company, Helmerich & Payne, Inc., from December 7, 2010 to September 5, 2012, before being named President and Chief Operating Officer. Effective March 5, 2014, Mr. Lindsay was became President and CEO. As of September 2014, Helmerich & Payne, Inc. operates a total of 379 rigs with 335 land rigs in the U.S., 35 international land rigs and nine offshore platform rigs. Mr. Lindsay serves on the Board of Directors for Helmerich & Payne, Inc., TerraVici Drilling Solutions, Inc. (a subsidiary of Helmerich & Payne, Inc.) in Houston, Texas, as well as the following not for profit institutions in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Monte Cassino Catholic School, Tulsa Area United Way and The University of Tulsa's Petroleum Engineering Advisory Board. Additionally, he served as 2008 Chairman of International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC), and remains on the executive committee.

John W. Hornbrook

John W. Hornbrook joined DeGolyer and MacNaughton in 2002 with wide-ranging practical and educational qualifications and serves as Manager of the Reservoir Studies Division. He is responsible for management of projects around the world, including field development projects in Algeria, Russia, and Peru, large-scale integrated studies in Kuwait, and simulation-based studies in the Gulf of Mexico. Hornbrook's experience includes field development studies, probabilistic analysis, reserves estimation, property valuation, well test design and analysis, gas storage assessment, and analysis of improved oil recovery mechanisms. His domestic expertise ranges from U.S. onshore fields, the shelf and deepwater Gulf of Mexico, and Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, and in global venues that include the Middle East, Western and Eastern Siberia, the Gulf of Thailand, the North Sea, Australia, Oman, and offshore Nigeria. He is experienced in oil and gas, heavy oil, geothermal, and coal bed methane applications. For DeGolyer and MacNaughton, he has worked many projects in Western Siberia, ranging from reservoir modeling to improve field performance to full-field geologic and simulation modeling for field development planning. In Eastern Siberia, he has developed full-field geologic and simulation models in complex reservoirs to evaluate field development planning options and to assess subsurface uncertainty. He has also made use of integrated simulation modeling to assist with portfolio management of multiple fields across Russia and has applied geologic and simulation modeling techniques to assess reserves in complex reservoirs. He has simulated thermal recovery processes in a heavy oil field in Oman and has assisted with reserves assessments. Prior to joining DeGolyer and MacNaughton, he worked with one of the world's largest petroleum corporations and then with a consulting firm on a variety of domestic and international projects. Hornbrook gained experience in development modeling in the Gulf of Mexico, the continental U.S., and the Gulf of Thailand and performed modeling in support of an arbitration involving a multi-reservoir field in the North Sea. With BP Exploration from 1994 to 1997, Hornbrook focused on development of the Prudhoe Bay reservoir, performing analyses for the Miscible Gas Project to determine optimal development and operational strategies. Hornbrook received a B.S. degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Tulsa in 1986. From Stanford University he earned an M.S. degree in 1991 and a Ph.D. degree in 1994 in petroleum engineering. He received numerous educational honors and has contributed technical articles to industry journals and educational publications. Among his professional affiliations, Hornbrook is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, serves as technical editor for the "SPE Reservoir Evaluation & Engineering" magazine, and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas. Hornbrook was elected Vice President of DeGolyer and MacNaughton in 2004 and Senior Vice President in 2010.

Ken McQueen

Ken McQueen is the Vice President for the San Juan Region at WPX Energy and has responsibility for the company's assets and activities in the four corners area of New Mexico and Colorado. He has 36 years of diversified industry experience across twelve different states and three countries. He has worked the San Juan Basin for the past thirteen years at WPX. He holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa, where he previously served as an adjunct professor in Petroleum Engineering and the Chairman of the McDougall School of Petroleum Engineering Industry Advisory Board. McQueen is a member of New Mexico Oil and Gas Association's (NMOGA) Board of Directors, the NM State Land Office Advisory Board, and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). McQueen has been active in a number of New Mexico initiatives, including NMOGA's horizontal rules committee in 2011. He was also a co-recipient of the 2013 Restore New Mexico Award from the State Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

Ken Oglesby

Ken Oglesby has 38 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and associated industries. He previously worked for Oak Resources, Inc., CNG Producing, Mapco Oil and Gas, and Chevron USA operating companies. He is currently Owner and President of Impact Technologies LLC, a technology development company, and Vice-President of Acorn Resources, Inc., an oil and gas and commercial real estate investment company. Impact is developing 20 new technologies for the oil and gas and related fields, including two advanced drilling systems and SPI conformance gels for waterfoods, CO2 floods and drilling applications. Ken received a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from The University of Tulsa (TU) in 1976. He earned a Master of Science also from TU in 1980. He currently serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the TU McDougall Scholl of Petroleum Engineering, where he previously served as Chairman. He is a 40-year member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Chairman of the SPE Mid-Continent Section, Regional Director of the SPE Mid-Continent region serving on the SPE board. He was the General Chairman of the 2004 SPE-DOE Improved Oil Recovery Symposium and Conference in Tulsa, OK. Ken holds 35 patents and patents-pending related to oil and gas and drilling system inventions. He is a professional petroleum engineer registered in the state of Oklahoma since 1978.

Lisa A. Stewart

Lisa A. Stewart serves as Sheridan's Executive Chairman and Chief Investment Officer, overseeing all aspects of Sheridan acquisitions and the implementation of Sheridan's strategy. Ms. Stewart has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in engineering and management positions. Prior to founding Sheridan, until 2006 Ms. Stewart served as Executive Vice President of El Paso Corporation and President of El Paso E&P and other non-regulated businesses. In those positions, Ms. Stewart had overall responsibility for a large and diverse E&P company that generated operating revenue of $1.8 billion and earnings of $699 million during the twelve months ended June 30, 2006, and that had 2006 budgeted capital expenditures exceeding $1 billion. During her time at El Paso E&P, Ms. Stewart was responsible for a substantial turnaround in profitability and drilling success in what had been a distressed business. Her success was achieved by rebuilding the division, including reorganizing and recruiting a substantially new management team, infusing a culture of teamwork and accountability and focusing on profitability rather than solely on production growth. Prior to her time at El Paso, Ms. Stewart spent 20 years at Apache, leaving in January 2004 as Executive Vice President with responsibility for reservoir engineering, business development, land, environmental, health and safety and corporate purchasing. During her tenure, Apache was the industry's most active and successful acquirer of producing properties both in the United States and internationally. Under Ms. Stewart's leadership, the Apache acquisition team successfully completed 28 major acquisition transactions with total proved reserves of 1.4 billion BOE and an aggregate value of $8.2 billion. Ms. Stewart holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa, where she is a member of the College of Engineering and Natural Sciences Hall of Fame. She is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and IPAA and serves on the Board of Directors of Talisman Energy, Inc., a Canadian oil and gas company.

Mark Hatfield is the General Manager of Strategy and Planning for Chevron's Global Upstream Business. He assumed this position in August, 2013 and is based in San Ramon, CA. Mark received his BS degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa (TU) in 1982. Following graduation, he joined Chevron in New Orleans, LA as a Production Engineer. Since that time, he has held engineering, planning, and management positions of increased responsibility at Chevron. During his career, Mark has served on several industry committees for the SPE and API. In addition, he has represented Chevron as an account executive for the United Way. Mark has maintained close ties to TU since graduating. He was Chevron's lead recruiter here for 10 years, and now serves on TU's McDougall School of Petroleum Engineering Industry Advisory Board.

Richard E. Bross

Richard E. Bross serves as the Vice President of Business Development for JMA Energy Company. Mr. Bross joined JMA as a consultant in December of 2001 and as a full time employee in January of 2006. Prior to joining JMA, Mr. Bross served in various executive capacities with Louis Dreyfus Natural Gas Company from 1991 to 2001. Mr. Bross served as the President of Louis Dreyfus Natural Gas from 1991 until September of 1993. In September of 1993, coinciding with the public listing of Louis Dreyfus Natural Gas, Mr. Bross was named Executive Vice President and elected to its Board of Directors. From 1977 to 1991 Mr. Bross served in various capacities with Woods Petroleum Corporation culminating with his appointment as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 1990. Prior to joining Woods Petroleum Corporation Mr. Bross was employed by Gulf Oil Corporation from 1970 to 1977 in various engineering capacities. Stuart Cox

Stuart Cox retired from Marathon Oil Corporation in September, 2013, and subsequently joined PetroEdge Energy III LLC, where he is the Vice President of Reservoir Engineering. Before retiring, Stuart was Marathon's Chief Reservoir Engineer for unconventional resource developments. He has 30 years of industry experience focused primarily on operations and reservoir engineering. Since 1994 Stuart's primary focus has been evaluation and production optimization of tight gas and unconventional oil and gas reservoirs. Stuart is a Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Distinguished Lecturer 2009-2010. In 2012 he received the SPE Gulf Coast Region Formation Evaluation Award. He graduated from The University of Tulsa with a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1984 and is a registered professional engineer in Alaska and Oklahoma.

Tamara D. Pollard

Tamara D. Pollard is the Executive Vice President, Planning & Reserves for RSP Permian, LLC (NYSE: RSPP) where she oversees the company's reservoir engineering and financial planning and budgeting groups. Ms. Pollard and five partners formed RSPP in October 2010. Over the next 3+ years, the company increased proved reserves from 44 MMBOE to over 104 MMBOE. In January 2014, the company started trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Prior to forming RSPP, she was a principal with Rising Star Energy, LLC, a Natural Gas Partners backed entity, and Rising Star Petroleum, LLC for 12+ years. Ms. Pollard and two partners formed and sold two companies prior to the formation of RSPP. She started her career as a reservoir engineer with Placid Oil Company. After 8 years in the reservoir engineering department, she was promoted to Manager of Corporate Planning. In late 1994, after the sale of Placid to Occidental, she joined Lovegrove & Associates as Senior Reservoir Engineer & Commercial Advisor performing international M&A work around the globe. In late 1996 she joined Snyder Oil Company as Corporate Planning Manager. Ms. Pollard received her Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa and a MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington. She currently serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the McDougall School of Petroleum Engineering at The University of Tulsa. She is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and United States Eventing Association (USEA).
