My name is Gabriella Rózsa Csóti, I was born in Zirc in 1962. I live with my family in Bakonybél, a picturesque little village near Zirc. I have always been fascinated by clay and its hidden possibilties so I applied for the Faculty of Pottery at the Arts and Crafts Instructor specialised in Folk Art and Games in 1991. I graduated in 1994. As a craftsman tutor I have worked at several places in Budapest, while - since I didn't have my own work-room equipped with a tile kiln - I found other ways of occupying my creative mind. For a period of time I worked as an animator and completed several animated cartoons for children. I also worked at home making patchwork books and splash-clothes, some of them has officially been acknowledged and rewarded by the Hungarian Folk Arts Comitee in 2005.
