Adele joined TBA in March 2022, she has worked in insolvency for over 25 years. She started her career with a mid-tier firm where she worked for 10 years. Adele specialises in corporate insolvency procedures and has dealt with various sectors including a solicitor/IFA firm. Adele also has experience of personal insolvency procedures.
Outside of work, Adele is at the gym every morning and likes a physical challenge, having completed the Tough Mudder course recently. Adele also enjoys playing tennis and is a keen advanced skier. She is also a member of her local village hall, organising events and functions for the village she lives in as well as regularly supporting local charity events.
Anette is an insolvency cashier in our West Byfleet office.

Benjamin joined TBA as a Junior Insolvency Administrator in September 2022. He is currently on a gap year before going to uni to study Maths.
He is a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo where he has competed in many sparring competitions and has won 11 gold medals. He also has captained his school rugby team and supports Arsenal.
Carisse rejoined TBA after 15 years. She works in all areas of personal and corporate insolvency. Carisse is a qualified lawyer and also obtained her JIEB personal paper in 2009, she is currently studying for her LPC and MSc.
Outside of work she enjoys reading, spin classes, walking her dog and travelling.
Chris joined TBA in March 2020 after completing a placement year at Gibson Hewitt between 2017 and 2018. In 2019, he obtained a BA (Hons) in Financial Management for Business from the University of Portsmouth.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys watching and playing football as well as socialising with his friends.

Courtney joined the firm in July 2022, having previously worked at mid-tier firms on the South Coast in Brighton. She brings with her over five years' experience in insolvency, initially specialising in Bankruptcies before taking on corporate appointments including Creditors' Voluntary Liquidations, Members' Voluntary Liquidations, Pre-Pack Administrations and Company Voluntary Arrangements. She is set to begin her studies and aims to sit the CPI exam in July 2023.
Outside of work, Courtney is a film buff, loves to cook and enjoys long walks with her dog.

Daniel joined the insolvency team as a Junior Insolvency Associate in September 2022, he is currently on a gap year looking to study mechanical engineering at the University of Bristol in September 2023.
Daniel spends most of his time playing basketball and staying active in the gym. He enjoys reading the latest advances the in the digital world, with a piqued interest in the future of machine learning and AI; as well as watching his childhood club "The Arsenal" thrive in the premier league. Daniel currently holds grade 6 in guitar.
David joined TBA in Oct 2018 with a remit to setup a finance division having spent the last 25 years in banking, finance and credit insurance.
David brings a wealth of experience particularly in assisting business to raise finance whether through factoring / invoice discounting, stock or trade finance, hire purchase, leasing and using where appropriate, the new fintech lenders.
Denise joined the Practice in December 1999 and is our IT Manager. Denise's responsibilities include planning and overseeing the smooth running of the IT department. Denise also creates compliance policies, procedures and forms for General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Outside work, Denise enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking, mindfulness, yoga, theatre, gardening and cooking.

Dylan joined TBA's West Byfleet office in March 2023 after graduating from the University of Nottingham in Economics.
In his spare time Dylan enjoys living an active lifestyle such as going to the gym and playing sports. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Specialising in digital marketing Hannah deals with the whole firms marketing needs. Prior to commencing her marketing role Hannah was PA to Martin for 7 years where she gained valuable knowledge of the firm. Hannah's marketing role focuses on increasing brand awareness and the online presence of the firm.
Hannah works part-time Monday - Thursday however she can be contacted any time by email or on her mobile 0777 659 7066.
Outside of work Hannah plays hockey for a local team, and she loves hiking, golf and any other outside activities.

Hari joined the firm as a Junior Administrator in August 2020 during his gap year and is going on to study History and Economics at the University of Manchester next year.

Jacob joined our West Byfleet office as a Junior Administrator in January 2022 having previously worked in Hospitality. He attended De Montfort University in Leicester where he studied History.
Outside of work, Jacob loves playing and watching Sport. He is currently the first XV Captain of Woking RFC, as well as a Southend United fan and an avid watcher of Test Cricket. In his free time, Jacob enjoys cooking, socialising with friends and going to the gym.

Jana joined tba's West Byfleet office (formerly Gibson Hewitt) during January 2017 after attaining his Masters in Banking & Finance. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW in 2021 and subsequently studied for the Joint Insolvency Examination Board ("JIEB") exams achieving a 1st time pass in 2022.
Jana manages a portfolio of cases including Administrations, Company Voluntary Arrangements, Voluntary Liquidations, Compulsory Liquidations, Receiverships, Individual Voluntary Arrangements and Bankruptcies.
In his spare time, Jana enjoys socialising and spending time with his family and friends, as well as keeping up to date with technology and tinkering with his car.

Jason joined the firm as a Junior Administrator in August 2021 and will be working with the firm for a year until he resumes his studies in Financial Mathematics at the University of Nottingham. Joel joined TBA's Sutton office in January 2023 as a gap year student before joining Oxford University to study Biology in October.
He plays three instruments, completing both piano and drums to Grade 8. In his spare time, he regularly plays basketball and goes to the gym, he also enjoys spending time with family or going on long walks with his dog.

John joined TBA's Insolvency team in April 2018, having previously worked for MHA Macintyre Hudson where he started his Insolvency career in 2013.
John has experience in both personal and corporate insolvency and his caseload has primarily consisted of Members' Voluntary Liquidations, Creditors' Voluntary Liquidations, Compulsory Liquidations and the occasional Bankruptcy.
Away from work, John enjoys attending boxing and football events, trying different cuisines and socialising with friends and family.

Josh joined our insolvency department in June 2023, whilst on his summer holidays. He is studying physical geography at the University of Liverpool, and is working to secure vital experience in the finance sector.
Josh enjoys spending most of his time watching his favourite team Everton, going to the gym, as well as spending time with friends and family.
Karen is the first friendly face that greets you when you call or visit tba. Karen joined the practice as a receptionist in October 2004 and has been an integral part of the team since.
Away from work Karen enjoys gardening and sports.
Katie joined the firm in March 2016 bringing with her over five years' experience in insolvency, with a particular focus on corporate appointments. She placed as a prize-winner when she obtained her CPI qualification in 2013.
Katie is a keen netballer and enjoys travelling and socialising with friends and family.
Kelly joined TBA in May 2019. Kelly has worked in the accountancy profession for over 20 years and as an insolvency cashier for 6 years in the City of London.
In her spare time Kelly likes socialising with friends and family, travelling and shopping!
Kelly has a keen interest in psychology and obtained a psychology degree back in July 2015.

Keshika joined TBA's Insolvency team as a Junior Insolvency Associate in May 2023, having previously worked in the Education sector. She attended the University of Hertfordshire where she gained a degree in Education Studies and is ready for a new challenge in her career, with more chance for progression.
Outside of work, Keshika enjoys spending time with her loved ones, socialising with friends, and travelling. She also enjoys cooking, reading and keeping fit by going on family walks with her dogs.
Kieran joined tba in April 2019. He attended the University of Southampton, obtaining a BSc in Economics. His current caseload consists mainly of Creditors' Voluntary Liquidations but he also has experience assisting with Administrations. He is currently studying towards his CPI qualification, hoping to sit the exam in 2023.
In his spare time Kieran likes rollerblading and playing/watching all kinds of sports. He's also a huge music lover who enjoys going to concerts regularly, learning to play the bass guitar and even producing his own music.

Kimberley joined TBA's Insolvency team in March 2023, having previously worked for MHA Macintyre Hudson in the corporate restructuring team in London. Kimberley studied business management and has 10 years' experience within the Insolvency profession. Over the last 3 years, Kimberley has focused her work around Fixed Charge LPA Receiverships and complex Administrations and has worked on a number of cases which involved investigation matters relating to unregulated bonds and other investments. In addition, Kimberley has managed Members' Voluntary Liquidations and Creditors' Voluntary Liquidations as well as the occasional Company Voluntary Arrangement. Kimberley plans to study for her Joint Insolvency Examination Board ("JIEB") qualification in the near future.
Outside of her professional life, Kimberley enjoys travelling to new places and spending time with her family and 2 children (who are both keen footballers!).

Lauren has recently joined the firm, having many years' experience in insolvency. Lauren started her insolvency career in May 2012 with a caseload of predominantly MVL's and CVL's. She has since expanded her knowledge with BKY's and WUC's. Lauren is a big foodie and in her spare time she likes to eat out at new restaurants. SHe also enjoys spending time with friends and family and is currently a happy hammer!
Linda has worked as a Insolvency Cashier since October 2009. She has a background of 33 years working as a Legal Cashier in solicitor practices having qualifies as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Cashiers and Administrators.
In her own time she has also qualified as an Associate of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.
Linda is married and has a grown up daughter. She spends her spare time helping to look after her daughter's horse, as well as gardening and card making.
Having obtained a degree in Biochemistry Lindsey joined a mid-tier accountancy practice in London as an audit junior in 1989, transferring to the insolvency and corporate recovery department in 1991. Lindsey qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994 and went on to sit the JIEB exams in November 1997, achieving a first time pass, and getting her licence in early 1998. Lindsey's experience in London was mainly of administrative receiverships, company voluntary arrangements and voluntary liquidations, together with more latterly some experience of independent business reviews on behalf of banks.
After 13 years in London and 2 children later, Lindsey decided to move out of London to be closer to home and joined Turpin Barker Armstrong in 2003. Since joining TBA Lindsey has also gained experience in personal insolvency as well as continuing to work on corporate insolvency.
Louis joined TBA's Insolvency Team in June 2023, having previously worked in the City for nearly 10 years. He has a broad range of experience in dealing with administrations, CVLs and advisory projects aswell as Compulsory Liquidations, MVLs and Bankruptcy cases. He studied for the JIEB exams in 2019 achieving a first time pass and is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends and following his beloved Manchester United. He also spends the occasional afternoon hacking around a golf course.
Martin specialises in corporate insolvency and turnaround, audit and strategic planning and is senior partner of the practice. Martin has wide commercial experience being a director of a property development company and former chairman of a not-for-profit company operating in the leisure sector.
Martin also has a significant involvement in the local business community and voluntary organisations; Martin is Chairman of Westminster Circle, Old Suttonians Association and Old Suttonians Football Club as well as President of Sutton Federation and is past-President and vice Chairman of the Amateur Football Combination.

Marvin joined TBA's West Byfleet office in November 2022. He has worked in insolvency for over 10 years gaining a great deal of experience in both personal and corporate assignments in the UK including Proceeds of Crime Act proceedings and internationally, administrating over insolvency appointments in multiple jurisdictions, as well as cross border insolvencies within Europe.
In his spare time Marvin has presented papers at numerous international conferences with a key interest in Insolvency and Corporate Governance and has published essays in both legal and accounting journals. He has also gained invaluable experience undertaking several international volunteering projects centred around restructuring and debt finance. More locally he also volunteers for a debt education charity working with local schools and colleges.

Matt joined TBA in February 2007 after earning a degree at St Mary's University and has since gained vast experience in corporate insolvency, including Creditors' Voluntary Liquidations, Compulsory Liquidations and Administrations.

Max joined TBA in June of 2023 to gain experience during his summer break from university. Max currently studies at the University of Leeds where he is studying Economics and Politics BA.

Michaela joined TBA in March 2023 bringing with her 15 years of insolvency experience. Michaela started her insolvency career at Begbies Traynor in London where she worked for 9 years gaining her CPI qualification which she passed first time. Michaela is also a Member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (MIPA). Michaela has worked on a varied case load including Corporate and Personal Insolvency including trading Administrations.
Outside of work Michaela enjoys spending time with her family and taking her daughter on days out, as well as going for walks with the dog and of course shopping!

Ollie joined the firm as a Junior Administrator in June 2023 and is going on to study Economics at the University of Birmingham next academic year. Ollie has just returned from a gap year where he spent time working followed by 2 months travelling in Asia.

Paul joined the firm as a Junior Insolvency Associate in April 2023 having previously worked for a practice in St Albans. He attended Montpellier University in France where he studied Economics, Law, and Accounting.
In his spare time Paul enjoys playing football, running and going back to France for ski trips. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends and eating out at new restaurants.
Phil joined the TBA West Byfleet Office (formerly Gibson Hewitt) in 2001. He qualified as a chartered accountant with the ICAEW in 2004 and subsequently studied for the Joint Insolvency Examination Board ("JIEB") exams achieving a 1st time pass in 2006. He was granted FCA status by the ICAEW in 2014.
Phil has been a manager since 2006 working in all areas of personal and corporate insolvency.

Philippa has been working in insolvency since 2013 and has been at TBA since March 2015. Philippa manages a portfolio of cases including Administrations, Company Voluntary Arrangements, Voluntary Liquidations, Compulsory Liquidations, Receiverships, Individual Voluntary Arrangements and Bankruptcies. Philippa obtained her CPI qualification in 2014 and is currently working her way through the ACCA exams to become a chartered certified accountant.
Philippa is a big foodie, and in her spare time enjoys cooking and socialising with friends although her great love in life is to travel.

Rebecca joined the firm as a Junior Administrator in August 2020 as part of her gap year, she is now studying Psychology at the University of York but continues to works at TBA in between her studies.

Joining the Practice at the beginning of 2022, Ryan oversees TBA's internal human resources and the practice Finances.
Outside work Ryan plays and watches a lot of football as well as coaching a youth team. He also enjoys holidays with his family.
Ryan joined TBA in 2004 and, barring a 6 month break to travel the world, has been part of the Insolvency department ever since. Initially joining as a junior member of staff, he worked his way up in the practice and was made Partner in April 2021.
Ryan specialises in corporate insolvency procedures, particularly voluntary liquidations and administrations, and has dealt with various sectors, including the restaurant industry, construction, and solicitor/IFA firms. He also assists in agreeing informal arrangements with creditors (including HMRC) for both corporate entities and individuals.
Outside of work he enjoys playing football and golf, and is a bit of a movie buff!
Samantha has been at TBA since July 2015 as Executive Assistant for the Senior Partner, Martin Armstrong.

Our longest serving member of staff, Sarah, has been with the practice since 1984. With a wide range of responsibilities Sarah ensures that the office runs smoothly and efficiently- and if it doesn't - she sorts it!
A previous Akela and Brown Owl, Sarah is still involved in scouting in her spare time. She also enjoys travelling, eating out and being taken for a walk by her Border Collie.

Sylwia joined TBA in October 2017, working as a Senior Insolvency Consultant. Sylwia is a Polish professional who has lived in the UK since 2003, she is a member of several groups of polish professionals including Polish Professionals, Polish Business Link and Women's Business Link of which she is one of the Co-Founders.
Outside of work Sylwia enjoys snowboarding and basketball.

Tobi recently joined TBA as a junior insolvency associate in June of 2023, having finished his first year at the University of Nottingham reading Biotechnology.
Tobi has many hobbies such as playing the piano and going to the gym. He has a particular interest in American football and is looking to play for his university in the coming year as a means to continue challenging himself.

Vedeena Haulkhory Assistant Insolvency Manager 020 8661 7878 vedeena.haulkhory@turpinba.co.uk Vedeena has recently joined the firm, having over 12 years' experience in insolvency. Vedeena spent over 11 years working for a mid-tier accountancy firm in the City and has experience in dealing with both personal and corporate cases, including complex bankruptcies and investigation work. Vedeena manages a mixed caseload of personal and corporate cases. Vedeena has a degree in law and is CPI qualified. She is currently studying towards her JIEB qualification and is a member of the R3 womens networking. Away from work, Vedeena spends time with her family and two young boys and enjoys baking and cake decoration.
Vickie joined the Insolvency Team at TBA in March 2023 following a long career in a legal practice. Previously an Office and Accounts Manager as well as undertaking PA duties she believes she can transfer her skills across and enjoy the challenge of getting to grips with Insolvency practice and procedures.
Vickie enjoys all sports, but watching international rugby has become her favourite despite being a football referee for many years. Vickie loves to walk and swim and enjoys travel, socialising and entertaining. Family get togethers are always treated as a special occasion.

She qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2010 and her experience includes complex trading insolvencies to smaller cases including advisory work across a range of sectors. Victoria primarily deals with corporate and personal insolvency case closure.
