My conviction of the genius of his art and my passion for it has caused me for these last 20 years to attempt to have it displayed wherever I could, and I have been rewarded for that effort, not at all in any economic terms, but because wherever Raymond's work is put, the general public, the common man - not the self-styled sophisticated collector that I am, not necessarily the professional well-versed people that you are - but the people who walk the street to and from work, the people who pass by on a stroll, the people who visit the people who are not especially conscious of art or sculpture are deeply affected. Those people, in numbers that would surprise you, flock to see Raymond Mason's work wherever it has been made available to them. Surprisingly, whether or not the exhibition was advertised, they learn about it by word of mouth, by passing by, by seeing it out of the corner of their eye.
