Christine works on personal injury and medical negligence cases by providing support to the specialist spinal cord injury solicitors and our clients. Prior to becoming a Paralegal, Christine qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2002 and in 2014 completed her Law Degree through the Open University. Christine understands the life-changing impact a spinal cord injury can have, not only for the injured person but also their family and friends. Christine enjoys making a difference to our client's lives, by assisting the solicitors in securing early access to rehabilitation and treatment. Christine feels privileged to work for our clients and assist them through the claims process from the initial enquiry through to settlement, during a very traumatic time in their lives. Matthew is a Senior Solicitor within Aspire Law leading one of the dedicated teams working on behalf of clients who have sustained a spinal cord injury, to access rehabilitation and compensation. Matthew has extensive experience of working for those who have suffered a life changing injury. He embarked on his legal career in 1999 and exclusively works on behalf of the injured client in personal injury cases. Where possible, Matthew will always meet with his clients to understand their situation and objectives. Matthew enjoys working as part of a team to establish liability having garnered extensive experience in acting for client where liability is initially denied. Matthew endeavours to progress claims effectively and efficiently by identifying the key milestones for a client. Having graduated from the University of Birmingham with an honours degree in Law in 2022, Skye started the Barrister Training Course in Holborn, London. Skye passed all her training and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in July 2023. Skye first became interested in medical negligence during her Law degree, where she wrote her dissertation on the medical negligence system in England and Wales. For the past year, Skye has volunteered at the medico-legal society in London. Skye is also grateful to have been mentored by a senior clinical negligence specialist at a leading London NHS trust for the last few years. Skye was the first student to be invited to become a member of the Birmingham Law Society's Pro Bono Committee, where she was in a sub-committee for organising Pro Bono week events for the West Midlands. Tiago gained experience in personal injury cases working as a paralegal and during his training as a solicitor. He qualified as a solicitor in September 2019 and joined Aspire Law in April 2023. Prior to joining Aspire Law, Tiago was a solicitor assisting senior colleagues with a wide variety of medical negligence claims where clients have suffered significant injuries affecting them to differing degrees and intensities. Tiago's former experience includes spinal injuries arising from Road Traffic Collisions and cauda equina syndrome. Tiago understands that bringing a claim for medical negligence and personal injury is daunting. His priority with every client is to simplify the complexities of the litigation process into clear and practical advice with the aim of progressing matters to a successful resolution for each client.
