Trevor Matthews who runs ATM Electrical and Building Services, based in Bury, Lancashire. Featured in BBC1's DIY SOS programme. He along with the help of Builder and friend Steve Gamble appeared in a house conversion for a two year old boy Noah, who suffers from spina bifida, a condition that affects the the spine. Trevor and Steve installed his new custom-made fibre optic ambient lighting panel in Noah's home after the programme producers were told it was an ideal way to help sufferers of the disorder to relax. Trevor said it was fantastic to be a part of the programme and to help the family. the ambient lighting panel was fixed inside Noah's sensory room and will help him cope more easily with his condition. "The panel initially designed for the use by hairdressers and beauticians can also help suffers from autism and those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder."
