Dr Dylan Lu is a consultant psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He currently provides outpatient care to adults in his private consulting rooms, as well as inpatient care at Belmont Private Hospital. Dr Lu has extensive experience working in both public and private mental health services. After completing his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Griffith University, he completed residency training in surgery, emergency and general medicine before specialising in psychiatry. Dr Lu has held lecturer academic titles with Griffith University, and has published and presented research at psychiatric conferences. Dr Erich Ting

Dr Erich Ting is a consultant psychiatrist and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). He is also a Faculty Fellow of Adult Psychiatry, member of the Section of Neurostimulation and Perinatal Psychiatry, and an international member of both the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK (RCPsych). He provides outpatient care in his private consulting suites and inpatient care at Belmont Private Hospital. Dr Ting has extensive experience in both public and private mental health services. He also completed a Certificate of Advanced Training in Adult Psychiatry, which is a subspecialty training of psychiatric disorders in the adult population. Dr Ting has also undertaken additional training in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and is an accredited TMS practitioner at Belmont Private Hospital. He can provide outpatient TMS services for depression. Dr Ting completed Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours at Monash University. He then obtained his medical degree at the University of Queensland, before specialising in psychiatry. Dr Ting is also a Senior Lecturer with the University of Queensland School of Medicine and has published his research internationally. He also participates in education of medical students and psychiatry trainees. In addition to English, Dr Ting speaks fluent Mandarin, Taiwanese, Foochow and Malay. Dr James Barton

Dr James Barton is a consultant psychiatrist and fellow of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). He provides general adult psychiatric outpatient care in his consulting suites. He is also a psychogeriatrician having completed advanced training in old age psychiatry and has a special interest in older persons with neurocognitive and mood disorders. Most recently he has worked at Currumbin Clinic and developed an interest in addictive disorders, especially those related to alcohol use. Born and raised in Brisbane, Dr Barton completed a Bachelor of Medical Science in 2012 and Doctor of Medicine in 2016, both at Griffith University. He is an accredited training supervisor for the RANZCP Fellowship Program and maintains an active interest in teaching registrars and medical students. Dr Barton has extensive experience in both public and private sector psychiatry. Dr Kannan Kallapiran is a passionate psychiatrist with over 20 years' experience in this field. He is also certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and trained in Infant Mental Health. He is keen on enhancing perinatal mental health as a foundation for positive infant mental health and overall family wellbeing. He utilises a combination of medical and psychological therapies such as CBT, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Mentalization Based Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction to provide an integrated treatment approach. Dr Katya Nelson has over 12 years of experience as a consultant psychiatrist specialising in child and adolescent mental health, as well as working with young adults (18-25). She has a clinical interest in high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder and it's comorbidities, having been trained in using gold standard assessment tools including the ADOS and ADOS-2 for over 10 years. Having received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science (MBBS) in London, UK, she completed her psychiatry training at the Maudsley Hospital in South London, achieving a Certificate of Completion of Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2011. Dr Mark Spelman was elected as the hospital's Director of Medical Services in 2015. Dr Spelman has been an accredited Psychiatrist at Belmont Private Hospital for over 20 years and has an onsite private practice. Dr Melissa White

Dr Melissa White BA (Hons I); MBBS; FRANZCP; Cert. Child Adol. Psych. is a consultant psychiatrist and a Fellow of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). She also holds the RANZCP Certificate of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr White was the Faculty of Arts Valedictorian of The University of Queensland for her graduating year in her humanities degree. She is a Senior Lecturer with the schools of medicine of both The University of Queensland and Griffith University. Dr White is a Court Appointed Examiner for the Mental Health Court Queensland. Dr White sees children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing psychiatric and psychological difficulties. Dr White particularly enjoys providing individualised treatments to secure improved trajectories of psychological development to young people and their families. Dr White accepts referrals from specialist psychiatrists requiring an episode of in-patient treatment for their young patients and to whom their patients will return for continuation of their outpatient care. Dr White's other interest is neuropsychiatry, a subspecialty area focusing on the psychiatric consequences of neurological problems. This includes seeing patients with conditions such as intellectual impairment, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, Tourette's syndrome and brain injury. She accepts outpatient referrals for repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for patients with treatment-resistant depression.
