Dean Andrew was installed as the 40 th Dean of Norwich in January 2023.
Before his appointment as Dean, he served as Canon Missioner of Gloucester Cathedral and Director of Mission and Ministry for the Diocese of Gloucester from 2013, and was appointed Interim Dean of Gloucester in 2022.
Born in 1971, Dean Andrew was ordained in Norwich Cathedral in 1998 and served his curacy in the parishes of Ranworth with Panxworth, Woodbastwick, South Walsham and Upton. In 2001, he was appointed Rector of Cringleford and Colney, taking up the additional role of Rural Dean of Humbleyard in 2004. In 2008, he was appointed Diocesan Missioner in the Diocese of Gloucester. He has also served as a Governor of Ripon College, Cuddesdon and was chair of the Gloucester City Centre Commission, working with a variety of partners to form a common vision for the city. He is the author of a number of works on the historic development of Anglican liturgy and spirituality.
He is married to Victoria and they have two children.

Revd Canon Keith James was born in New Zealand but his childhood was spent in the North West of England.
He studied at Leeds University and has served in Lincoln and Worcester dioceses in parish ministry in rural and urban settings. He moved to Norwich in 2015 to be the Continuing Ministerial Development officer for the diocese and Residentiary Canon of the Cathedral.
In 2020, his Diocesan role changed to become Director of Ministry and in March 2022 he became Interim Archdeacon of Norwich in addition to this.
Revd Keith is married to Linda; a special needs teacher and they have three adult children. He enjoys tea, travel and live sport, especially following the England cricket team and the mighty Burnley Football Club.

Sam Garland took on the role of Head Gardener in August of 2019. He moved from the Royal Horticultural Society Garden Wisley where he completed RHS levels 3 and 4 and immersed himself in a world of plants. Before working with the RHS he maintained the gardens at Swannington Manor and worked as a pest monitor on fruit farms across East Anglia, whilst studying for a PGCert in International Horticulture at Writtle College. His initial field of study was philosophy, in which he read an undergraduate degree at the University of East Anglia and a masters degree at Sheffield University.
A principal focus of Sam's is to work with the Bishop of Norwich to initiate horticultural practices that raise the garden's environmental credentials and make the garden a beacon of success for environmentally led horticulture.
Sam Garland was appointed Head Gardener in summer 2019 and works alongside Victoria Bleksley.

Tim became Diocesan Secretary for the Diocese of Norwich in September 2021.
Prior to this Tim worked for YMCA for 22 years in various positions across the country and was CEO of YMCA Norfolk for 12 years. He has been a Lay Canon of Norwich Cathedral since 2017 and holds leadership positions with Norfolk Museums Development Foundation and The Wherry School.
Tim is married to Anna and they have two children.
Vic joined the team as Assistant Gardener in September 2021. To facilitate a career change, she completed a WRAGS traineeship in horticulture and is currently studying for RHS Level 2 certificate in horticulture. Vic is passionate about promoting sustainable practises and encouraging bio-diversity. She is interested in the beneficial effects of human interactions with plants, gardens and natural environments for well-being and is taking courses in Social and Therapeutic Horticulture. Vic studied Psychology at Reading University and later completed a Masters degree in Business Psychology whilst working in corporate leadership development. Subsequently, she gained her Post Graduate Certificate in Person Centred Counselling and went on to work for a young persons charity as a youth and community worker.
