The greatest gift I received as a child was the ability to stop and ask "WHY?". Coming from an educator-centric family, I grew up with a developed sense of helping others learn and succeed. Always working to help others, while still in high school, I became a licensed minister, speaking at churches across Oklahoma and Texas. However, after seeing the impact my part-time employer had on employees' lives, I left the ministry and became a manager of people. Over the next 30 years I conducted thousands of staffing interviews and studied the personality traits that help people fit into their chosen roles. With training learned from Selection Research International and Dr. Donald O. Clifton, I discovered WHY people succeed at some things and struggle at others. Years later, as a Regional Sales Manager for a large Bassett Furniture franchise, I further developed my training to encompass the core personality types.
