Valerie (Val) Martynov and Kayleigh (Kay) Korhonen are long time friends who met each other through a mutual friend. We both started designing tattoos at about the same time. We got together and decided to try combine our talents to help each other and learn how to design and create tattoos. Thanks to Kay's suggestion the name of our store became Body Canvas and on March 15, 2009 we had our grand opening. We started out small on a sim that was owned by Val's friend, since then we have opened up our main store in the Baba Yaga sim located in Secondlife. The store has grown a lot since than and so have our customers. Our products can also be found on the SLMarketplace. We also have a scribe-o-matic update group that you can join so that you can kept up to date on new products and services.
