With almost three decades of experience in designing and implementing programs and advocacy campaigns and defining approaches and strategies for policy issues in population, Aparajita is at the heart of C3's vision and goal. She is also the National Coordinator of the White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood/India (WRAI) and a former elected member of the Board of the Global WRA. Aparajita has been accorded recognition globally for her work -- she was feted as one of 20 women achievers in healthcare by Modern Magazine in 2009. In 2010, at the "Women: Inspiration and Enterprise" Symposium hosted in New York by Sarah Brown, Donna Karen and Arian Huffington, Aparajita was given the WIE Humanitarian Award. In 2011, The Guardian, UK, marked International Women's Day by selecting her as one of the 100 most inspiring women in the world. Dr. Gogoi is the Executive Director of C3. She holds a PhD in International Politics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She has three decades of experience in program management, with expertise in designing and implementing programs, advocacy campaigns, and defining approaches and strategies for policy issues in population. A winner of the WIE Humanitarian Award, Dr. Gogoi was also named as one of the 100 most inspiring women in the world by The Guardian of UK.

Dr. Nozer K Sheriar

Dr. Sheriar is a leading Mumbai based obstetrician and gynaecologist with a longstanding commitment to the advocacy and promotion of women's health and rights. He is the Former Secretary General of the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India, Former President of the Mumbai Obstetric and Gynaecological Society and Former Scientific Chair of the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics. He is a member of the Governing Boards of Guttmacher Institute and Ipas, and Technical Advisor to the South East Asia Region of the World Health Organization. He is the Co-chair of the Medical Advisory Panel of the Family Planning Association of India. He has edited and authored numerous scientific publications.
