MCRHL

The NIU Roller Hockey Team has been around since 2003. We are a part of the Midwest Collegiate Roller Hockey League (MCRHL), which is a part of the larger National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (NCRHA). The organization was started up by a couple of students who wanted to play competative roller hockey at the collegiate level. Since then we have tried to build a solid program with committed and dedicated hockey players... The mission of The NIU Roller Hockey Team is to provide a competitive hockey program at the collegiate level for all students. NIU Hockey teaches the players life skills, helps build their self-esteem and teaches good sportsmanship, while striving for academic excellence. We are highly competitive and have been slowly gaining success for the past several years. Our organization wants to continually gain respect from the MCRHL, NCRHA and mainly the university by excelling each year with our attitude and game play.
