Our focus is public safety. We uphold the quality and professionalism of healthcare professionals across Nova Scotia. We evaluate our standards, investigate the concerns of the public and implement new regulations that impact the quality of the care you receive... The Regulated Health Professions Network Act builds on the excellent regulatory systems already in practice. The Act authorizes regulated health professions in Nova Scotia to collaborate, on a voluntary basis, in regulatory processes related to the investigation of complaints, interpretation and/or modification of scopes of practice, and review of registration appeals... We are the combined conscience of Nova Scotia's self-regulated health professions. As a network of health regulators we work together to uphold and protect the public through collaborative regulation.
