PAGDENS - Key Persons
Bianca was born in Graaff-Reinet where she completed her school at Union High School. After completing her B Com (Law) degree at Nelson Mandela University, she obtained her LLB degree cum laude.
In her spare time Bianca enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading and hiking. Bianca joined the Pagdens team as a Candidate Attorney in 2020.
Brett was born in Port Elizabeth, schooled at Grey and studied at the University of Port Elizabeth (now known as Nelson Mandela University). He graduated with a B Juris and an LLB degrees. He joined Pagdens in 1995 and after completing his articles of clerkship was appointed to the Collections and Litigation Department. In 1998 he was admitted as a conveyancer and has practiced in the Property Department since then. Brett was appointed as a director in 2000. He enjoys golf, squash, running and spending time with his family.
Doc attended Queens College and thereafter studied at the University of Stellenbosch where he obtained his BCom (Law) and LLB degrees. Doc prosecuted for a year in Pinetown before serving his articles with the State Attorney. He joined Pagdens in 1983 and became a director in 1985. Doc specializes in conveyancing, with a special emphasis on developments. He is also a keen Estate Planner and provides guidance to the Estates Department. Doc was appointed as a Consultant in 2021. In his spare time he enjoys gardening and playing tennis and golf.
Jan Jan matriculated at Kingswood College in Grahamstown. He obtained his LLB degree at Nelson Mandela University. Jan Jan joined Pagdens as a candidate attorney in 2012 and was appointed as a director in 2015. In his spare time Jan Jan enjoys doing triathlon events and spending time outdoors.
Lazola matriculated from York High School in George. He then read towards a BA (Law) at Rhodes University. Thereafter he read towards his LLB at Unisa while working full time. In his spare time Lazola enjoys spending time with family, keeping active and reading up on the latest Farmers Weekly farming trends. Lazola joined the Pagdens team as a Candidate Attorney in 2023.
Matthew matriculated from Alexander Road High School in 2008 and obtained his LLB degree from Nelson Mandela University in 2012. He was admitted as an attorney in 2015 and has subsequently obtained his Masters in Labour Law (cum laude). Matthew joined Pagdens as an Associate in 2017 and was appointed director in 2020. He has a passion for community upliftment and in his spare time enjoys playing hockey, swimming and spending time with his family.
Mishke matriculated from Alexander Road High School in 2013. She obtained her degree in Psychological Counselling at the University of South Africa in 2018. Thereafter, she obtained her LLB degree at Nelson Mandela University. Mishke joined the Pagdens team as a Candidate Attorney in 2023. In her spare time, Mishke enjoys spending time outdoors, reading and getting involved in animal welfare projects and organizations.
Nicole attended Collegiate Girls' High School and went on to complete her B Com (Law) and LLB degrees at Nelson Mandela University. She joined the Pagdens Banking and Litigation team in 2014. Nicole moved into the Conveyancing and Deceased Estates Departments in 2018 and was appointed as a director in 2019. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and travelling with friends and family.
Rain matriculated from McLachlan in 2014. She then went on to obtain her LLB degree Cum Laude through the University of South Africa, while working full-time. In her spare time Rain enjoys spending time with her family, keeping active and reading books. Rain joined the Pagdens team as a Candidate Attorney in 2022.
Rob attended Woodridge College and obtained his B Juris LLB from the University of Port Elizabeth (now known as Nelson Mandela University). Rob joined Pagdens in 1988 where he practices in the Commercial and Litigation departments. He was appointed as a director in 1994. Rob was appointed as a Consultant in 2021.
Rob enjoys outdoor activities and sports, particularly rugby and cricket.
Sarah matriculated from Clarendon Girl's High School in 2016. She went on to obtain her LLB degree at Nelson Mandela University. Sarah joined the Pagdens Family as a Candidate Attorney in 2021. Sarah enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and sailing, spending time with her family and friends and travelling to new places.
Sizwe matriculated from Hoërskool Paul Erasmus. He obtained his BCom (Law) and LLB degrees from the University of Johannesburg. Sizwe joined the Pagdens Team as a Candidate Attorney in 2022.
In his spare time, Sizwe enjoys reading, football, sound design and travelling with his friends and family.
