In the following years the shop was run by his son Stavros. Today it is in the hands of his two sons, Charalambos and Theodoros. In this indeed long history our products have been met with a great success, mainly because of the fine materials that we use and the fact that our bakery is a traditional family business... Papadakos bakery was established 115 years ago. In 1900s, twenty year old Gabriel Papadakos left his village Milea to look for employment in Kalamata. Having some knowledge of baking bread and a lot of experience gained from growing up in the harsh conditions of the area, he opened his own bakery on 47 Aristodimou rd. in Kalamata... Our products are mostly wholesome, traditional foods closely connected to the customs and traditions of the area of Mani. The materials we use are of excellent quality and are produced locally.
