Ranked Ballots Windsor is a non-partisan, citizen-led project. The goal of Ranked Ballots Windsor is to educate and encourage citizens of Windsor and Windsor City Council to take advantage of the Municipal Elections Act and use ranked ballots in our municipal elections, as London, Kingston, and Cambridge have chosen to do... Ranked Ballots Windsor understands that in order for a ranked ballot system to become an option in Windsor, residents and city councilors need to know more about Ranked Ballots so it can endorse this simple change with confidence and enthusiasm... Less than 50% of eligible voters participate in Windsor's municipal elections. Voter turnout for the City of Windsor which was at 46% in 2010, 37.5% in 2014, and 34.7% in 2018. We believe that Ranked Ballots would encourage civic engagement.
