We work with both the Scottish Environment Protection Agency to minimize the environmental hazard of end of life tyres. In everything that we do, we seek to protect our environment and make it a better place... We continue to invest in carbon reduction opportunities and help all of our customers to comply with their statutory Duty of Care obligations and we work with our manufacturing partners to manage their Producer's Responsibilities. To this end we have sought out and developed responsible alternative uses and disposal routes for 100% of our used tyre stock through both our domestic and international networks... Sims Tyre Recycling works closely using state of the art technology to produce a range of graded rubber crumb manufactured from waste tyres.
