SHALOM FARM

Shalom Farm is a very small dairy-goat farm in northwest Ohio. We raise purebred, American, and recorded grade LaManchas, which, of course, we believe to be the absolutely best breed around... We also are members of the American Dairy Goat Association and our local Tri-State Dairy Goat Association. We go to three or four dairy goat shows each year, where we love learning to know other goat breeders, as well as share and acquire new information on the science of goat management. All of our kids are removed from their dams at birth and raised on heat-treated colostrum and pasteurized milk. For the last 2 years, all of our does have tested negative for CAE. We have also begun doing annual linear appraisal, in an attempt to continually improve the quality of our herd.
