The Sunnyvale Sister City Association (SSCA), an all volunteer 501 (c) 3 organization, gives Sunnyvale's next generation the opportunity to connect on a personal level with like-minded community members around the world. Our organization champions building long-lasting, international relationships that encourage growth and development. As the first-ever sister city association in Sunnyvale, we aim to nurture a sense of adventure and understanding in our local community and a chance to collaborate globally. For all of Sunnyvale's innovative and curious-true exchange awaits... Our mission is to promote meaningful relationships and enhance cultural competency of students and adults in the cities of Sunnyvale, California, USA and Iizuka, Japan. SSCA facilitates the opportunity to travel across the Pacific therefore providing cultural education and experiences that foster appreciation and compassion for another culture...
