TRINITY TREE HOUSE

Trinity Tree House Preschool was established as a service to the community by Trinity United Church of Christ at 8th and Clay Streets in Jasper. The preschool was begun in the fall of 1978. The planning committee recognized the need in the community for early childhood education and, therefore, set up a class for 4-year-olds which meets 3 mornings a week and a class for 3-year-olds which meets 3 mornings a week. In the fall of 1979 the preschool the preschool program was expanded to include another 4-year-old class which meets 3 afternoons a week; and, in the fall of 1994 an afternoon class for 3-year-olds was added... Trinity Tree House also provides an environment of Christian love in which the child is given opportunities to explore his/her world, to experiment with materials, to strengthen relationships with peers, and encouraged to think creatively in solving problems. There are experiences in art, music, science, literature, and social living, as well as physical activities..
