Operating for more than six decades, Jewell Animal Hospital was founded in 1949 by veterinarian and World War II veteran Dr. Jay Jewell Sarhonson. Since that time, the hospital, then known as Jewell Animal Clinic, has evolved into a beloved community business. Today, the hospital team is led by Dr. Patricia L. Smith, who formally took over the practice in 2006... Based in St. Louis, Missouri, Jewell Animal Hospital provides a wide range of veterinary services, including surgeries, pain management, and dental prophylaxis, in addition to wellness exams and vaccinations.
