He received his education in Biology and Architecture at the University of California at Berkeley... In addition to running a private practice providing high quality residential and commercial architecture services, Kyu is an enthusiastic supporter of non profit organizations involved in art, environmental sustainability and community service. His volunteer work includes serving as the architectural director for an archeological expedition in Sardenia, Italy for the Earthwatch Institute, collaborations with Creative Growth and has served as a member of the board of directors for New Langton Arts... Drawing from his professional architectural experience and expertise, Kyu specializes in art space projects collaborating with artists and galleries to realize thought provoking, experimental spaces.
