Kothari sons is a family run saree showroom in Gwalior with the fourth generation now working in the business. The recently renovated showroom also has the distinction of being the largest saree store in Madhya Pradesh in terms of sq ft area. The new look showroom now has a vast collection of designer sarees, lehangas, ready to wear salwar suits and kurtis, scarves and stoles, shawls and fabrics... An interesting fact is that the shop has its origins from the looms of Chanderi weaving Pagris, Dupattas & Patal (Nine yard sarees) for the Scindia Family and their Sardars. To this day, we stock Chanderi Sarees and Fabrics from our own looms. Kothari Sons was given the best showroom award in the centenary year of the Gwalior Trade Fair by Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee for its unique collection and display, We created the facade of Westminster Abbey, London... The history of our embroidering dates back 90 years when we started as the embroiderers and clothiers of the Royal Family of Scindia...
