Welcome to Kindergarten! I am so excited to be able to share our days with you. I have been teaching for 12 years, but have been in the education field for 22 years. I was a paraprofessional in the learning disabled classroom for three years until I became a mother and wanted to stay home to raise my children. I continued to substitute teach in the district because I love being in the classroom. My husband is Doug Basye and we have three children: Jordan-21, Olivia-18, and Brett-14. I love teaching and feel there is no better place to work than with 5-6 year olds who are full of energy, excitement and pure enjoyment.
