Diego Ovalle

Diego Ovalle is a highly dedicated and client-focused plaintiff's personal injury lawyer with a unique perspective on the law. Diego's approach to legal representation is deeply influenced by his education and experience. Prior to law school, Diego worked as a paralegal where he learned the importance of maintaining client communication. Once in law school, Diego obtained the legal education he needed to become an effective attorney. Diego's real-world experience provided him with the professional judgment required to be an effective attorney. Diego began his career representing clients in matters related to criminal misdemeanors and felonies in the Texas County and District Courts. He then switched to personal injury law, solely representing individuals against insurance companies and large corporations. Diego takes a client-focused approach to every case he handles, taking the time to listen to his clients' stories and understand their unique needs. Diego believes that every client ought to be heard and have their rights protected. Diego firmly believes that the legal system should be accessible to all, regardless of their socioeconomic status, he works tirelessly to ensure his clients receive the highest level of representation. Mark Guerra

Mark grew up along the United States-Mexico border in Brownsville, Texas. He earned a business degree with a concentration in international business from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. After college, Mark spent several years managing the supply chain of a nationwide furniture company. For law school, Mark attended South Texas College of Law Houston. During his time there, he received a Cali Award for making the highest grade in his Civil Pretrial Advocacy class. He was also a semifinalist in two mock trial competitions and received a Top 10 Appellate Brief Award in the Leroy Jeffers Moot Court Tournament. As a third-generation lawyer, Mark has focused his legal career on personal injury law and has substantial experience in all aspects of civil litigation. He is passionate about fighting for individuals and working-class families against large insurance companies and corporations. Mark is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and is an active member of several trial lawyer associations. After losing his grandmother to Alzheimer's, Mark got involved in the effort to find a cure for the disease. He serves as a board member of the Alzheimer's Association - Houston and Southeast Texas Chapter and participates in the annual Houston Walk to End Alzheimer's. As an ambassador for the 29th Congressional district, Mark meets with members of Congress to advocate and garner support for Alzheimer's research funding. Sam K. Mukerji

Born in Fort Worth and raised in Houston, Sam K. Mukerji is a native Texan. Sam attended The University of Texas at Austin and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics, and then went to St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio. Early on in Sam's legal education, he had an overwhelming desire to help individuals. In preparation to become a lawyer, Sam was a part of the Criminal Justice Clinic at St. Mary's University School of Law and was handpicked along with one other student to be the only Clinic participants to take to trial a criminal matter during that academic year. Immediately after passing the bar exam, Sam took a position as a Criminal Defense attorney at a prominent Central Texas law firm that primarily handled personal injury matters. After winning all three of his criminal trials, at the request of the managing attorney, Sam made the switch to representing injured individuals, and has been doing so ever since. Sam started his own law firm in 2008 believing that he could better represent those that had been injured due to no fault of their own by managing all aspects of a person's case - from intake to trial. Sam continues to this day to personally handle the most difficult and highest-damages cases on the firm's docket. Shampa C. Mukerji

Shampa C. Mukerji is a native Houstonian. Shampa attended Northwestern University in Illinois where she completed her Bachelor's degree in Communications in three years. After working in the advertising industry, she returned home to Houston to attend the University of Houston Law Center. In law school, Shampa served on the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy as an Editor and as Chief Justice of the Honor Court. For over a decade, Shampa has successfully practiced in multiple areas of civil litigation representing individuals, corporations, small business owners, and other civil litigants. Shampa focused on first party insurance litigation for many years before joining the Mukerji Law Firm, where she manages over 500 personal injury cases. With each case, Shampa's main objective is to ensure clients receive the best possible resolution to their case. Her attention to detail, strong work ethic, and years of experience are strong assets to the Mukerji Law Firm. Shampa is married to Sam Mukerji. Winfield S. Williams

Winfield S. Williams is a native Houstonian, who received his law degree from South Texas College of Law. While at law school, Winfield participated in South Texas' nationally renowned mock trial program, studied human rights law in Santiago, Chile, interned at the Harris County District Attorney's Office, and clerked at a prominent personal injury law firm. Since becoming licensed, Winfield represents people injured as a result of the negligence of individuals and companies. Winfield has represented thousands of individuals in personal injury matters and has first chaired personal injury trials in Harris, Fort Bend, Brazoria, Galveston, and Montgomery counties.
