SHAHRAM SHIRKHANI

For the better part of three decades, Dr. Shahram Shirkhani has worked in international law and finance in Tehran, Iran. After completing his Ph.D. in International Financial Law from Islamic University, he went on to serve as an international legal advisor to the Foreign Investment Authority of Iran. In this role, Dr. Shirkhani procured financing for the country's oil sector and established trade activity between Iran and South Africa. In addition to arranging international syndicated loans totaling more than $2 billion, Dr. Shirkhani helped to establish a $20 million facility for the oil fields in the south of Iran... Following several years with the Foreign Investment Authority, Dr. Shahram Shirkhani became an Associate Professor of Law with Islamic Azad University.
