David and Laura have sold hundreds of homes in their combined 40+ years as full-time Realtors. David, a life-long resident of Bexley and graduate of The Ohio State University, entered the appraisal industry where he became licensed by the State of Ohio as a General Certified Appraiser. Following a career in commercial and residential real estate valuation, David decided to use his valuation knowledge in the residential real estate sales world. He acquired his real estate sales license in 2001 and teamed up with Laura, who obtained her real estate sales license in 1996. David and Laura are committed to approaching each transaction as if it were their own. Recognizing that buying or selling a home is an important financial transaction as well as an incredibly emotional experience, they go above and beyond what is required of the average real estate agent. Their professionalism, organization, and responsiveness provide each client with both a high level of commitment and outstanding service. David and Laura live in Bexley and have three children who all attend Bexley Schools. David is a past President of the Bexley-Eastmoor-Berwick Real Estate Association while Laura is a past President of the Midtown Realtors Association. David is a recipient of the Columbus Realtors' Twenty Five Million Dollar Award and has earned the Ohio Association of Realtors President's Sales Club Award of Distinction.
In 2015, David's sister, Megan joined them and The Powers Group was formed. Forrest Neuswanger became part of the team in 2020. Together they strive to achieve their goal of obtaining optimal results for their clients, providing them with the highest quality service combined with their knowledge and expertise of the Columbus market.

Norma Brownfield, Director of Property Management, is a proven senior management executive with over 30 years of property management experience. Norma has considerable experience managing medical facilities, large commercial offices, and manufacturing/warehousing operation. Norma's strong building operations experience and negotiating skills enable her to consistently control costs, meet project timelines and budgets without sacrificing quality. She is a well-rounded and service drivel leader. Some of Ms. Brownfield's career highlights include management services for developers Duke Realty Investments, Vantage Companies and Equity Real Estate. She oversaw the day-to-day operations of 30 properties comprising of 2.4 million square feet of medical, office and retail space and was responsible for lease administration, tenant relations, contract negotiations, budgeting, collections and maintenance. Norms was Director of Facility Services for the Longaberger Company. She managed 3 million square feet, a staff of 31 managers, supervisors, and 200 hourly employees.
