FIELD HOCKEY

As a co-ed club field hockey team, we seek to promote opportunities for both men and women to play field hockey in a competitive, yet nurturing environment. The team is committed to fostering learning beyond the classroom and onto the field hockey field. We emphasize participation and excellence while still having fun. Our players come with a wide range of field hockey experience. Some have years of experience and come from competitive high school programs and played year round. Other players have been "recruited" by their friends or roommates and pick up a field hockey stick for the first time on the first day of practice. We welcome anyone as long as they are willing to commit to the team by showing up when they say they will and are always working hard. While we are officially an undergraduate organization, graduate students are welcome to join.
