The Widows' Farm was established in 2009 by John & Marty Smith, followed in 2013 by the establishment of the CBO... Widows' Farm Enterprises is a Community Based Organization (CBO) headquartered in Kadawa, near Kisumu Kenya, on Lake Victoria; certified by the Kenyan government. The organization, helps this needy community and surrounding areas in Western Kenya... The Widows' Farm covers an area of almost 6 acres. Since the purchase in 2009, continual development has enabled the farm to be productive enough to regularly feed destitute widows whose names are on the widows' list.
