The TROOP AID charity exists to relieve serving personnel of the armed forces, injured or returning from situations of training or armed combat, who are in need by reason of distress, injury, sickness, disability or other disadvantages...
We aim to reduce or alleviate at least some of this by providing basic essentials and toiletries, that military and civilian hospitals do not provide, so helping the patient's dignity and esteem, during this traumatic period...
The principal aid we provide is supplying our Grab Bags to these injured military personnel. They contain multiple essential items that often are not provided or available but which are proven to help with the patient's experience during their hospitalisation and recovery, during what is often a very traumatic period whilst they are serving their country in the forces.
