David Meckin - Founder, Managing Director
David Meckin is founder and Managing Director of Insight Financial Consulting. Previously, he held several senior management positions up to and including that of Chief Financial Officer of a multi-national business, working with companies in the United Kingdom, Europe, North America and Asia. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
Over the years, David has developed a reputation for "turning complexity into simplicity", making the world of finance interesting, easy to understand and even fun! David regularly delivers management workshops and presents at conferences to audiences from around the globe. He also coaches senior executives in a variety of organisations and is regularly called upon to assess the business and financial acumen of prospective CEOs.
In addition to regular mountaineering trips, David enjoys a variety of activities including flying (he is a qualified pilot), adventure travel and is a keen landscape photographer.
