Hi, I am Amy. I have worked as the Play leader at Monkeys since 2015. I love all animals and nature which fits in well with my role as a Forest school leader at High Ham Primary and lots of outdoor play at Monkeys.
After starting as a volunteer, Anna officially began working at Preschool in 2003 when her youngest of three children began at the local primary school. Anna used to be one of our Senior Assistants but retired from the floor in September 2022, Anna continues to be our fabulous administrator. Anna loves to see the children having fun together and learning. She particularly enjoys being outside with the children and being involved with creative and messy play activities.
Bekki started at High Ham Preschool in April 2012. Bekki has worked in Early Years since 2002 and is passionate about early education, supporting families and providing an engaging environment which is accessible for all children. She believes by creating a nurturing and caring Preschool all the children will be able to reach their full potential. Having three grown up children, has provided Bekki with a wide range of parenting experiences, including SEN.
I am Charlie, a Preschool assistant who joined the team in October 2020. I also occasionally work at our after school club. I have also been a parent here and now my 2 are at school!
I love getting my hands dirty be it gardening, playing or cleaning! I love to have fun with the children, aid them in their learning and positively push their abilities in the setting. I love baking, knitting, painting and visiting family.
Hi, I am Eleanor, I started working at High Ham Preschool from September 2022. I have worked with children in different roles for around 17 years. I enjoy creative activities at preschool and outside of preschool, including lots of baking. I also enjoy singing. I am kept busy at home with my two beautiful daughters, and have just enrolled to complete my level 3 qualification.
I'm Kim and I'm the deputy manager of High Ham Preschool. I have worked in early years for 20 years and it really is my passion! I began working here in Dec 2020. I love our small but mighty setting and laugh every single day! I particularly enjoy dancing, singing and generally making a fool of myself with the children.
In my spare time, I am working on my next qualification (every day is a school day!), I am part of a ladies pop choir, I have been in pantomimes for 24 years, I enjoy spending time with friends and weekends in my caravan with my family.
Hello, my name is Ruth. I joined the Preschool team as an assistant and after school playworker in November 2020. I thoroughly enjoy supporting the children and team each day. My favourite time of day is story time and Monkeys. In my spare time I work for the National Trust and I collect books.
Sarah began working at Preschool in 2006. She used to be a personnel manager but really enjoys working with the children rather than adults! Sarah loves outdoor and physical play and is always on the field given any opportunity.
