Big Seed Farms conducts farming operations at the Ortega Ridge Ranch, an 84 acre ranch located in Montecito in the Central Southern/Coastal region of California. One of the largest orchards in Montecito and the Santa Barbara area, the farm has roughly 4,600 avocado trees and 2,700 lemon trees. Both fruits are harvested at intervals throughout the year and sold commercially to restaurants, grocery stores, and specialty food outlets throughout California and the United States. The farm is situated on top of a ridge about a mile from the ocean, providing a rare and sweeping 360-degree views of the Pacific Ocean, the Channel Islands, and the Santa Ynez Mountain range...
