Angeline Cheong

She is passionate about ensuring our clients' needs are handled efficiently and effectively, and she is committed to providing true peace of mind through an exceptional level of care. Angeline is a graduate of Simon Fraser University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. In her professional career, she has held a variety of roles at the retail bank and branch levels, from financial services representative to client service manager. Her vast experience has led to an unmatched understanding of relationship management, team collaboration, and documentation. Angeline grew up in Singapore and now calls British Columbia home. She enjoys cooking and sharing meals with family and friends, long nature walks in the beautiful local scenery, practicing yoga, and travelling. She is also an animal lover and strong supporter of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).

Ashley Edgington

Committed to ongoing education, Ashley is a recent graduate of Royal Roads University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communication. She has also received a Marketing Management Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). Prior to joining our team, Ashley built a successful career at RBC as an account manager and mortgage retention officer, honing her interpersonal and communication skills while working alongside clients and senior management. 

 Ashley lives with her husband, Ryan, and two kids, Nolan and Mia, in Coquitlam - the city in which she herself grew up. Outside of the office, she enjoys playing games with her family, hosting and cooking for friends, and taking advantage of the outdoors through nature walks or triathlon training. Passionate about the betterment of her community, Ashley advocates for teachers as a member of her children's school PAC Executive teams and is a strong supporter of the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation.

Brian Smith

Dennis Chan

Dennis has over 25 years of experience in financial planning and advisory roles in the financial industry. His role on the team focuses on the development and implementation of a comprehensive financial plan for clients, specializing with creating and implementing strategies for entrepreneurs who are transitioning out of their business. He uses a disciplined analysis and planning process, working with client's accountants and other professionals to build a cohesive strategy that addresses clients goals taking into account their unique attributes and family dynamics. Dennis also leverages our highly accredited group of internal specialists from wills and estates lawyers, to business owner planners, to help clients navigate the complexity that comes from owning a successful business as well as for clients who have complex family planning needs. Dennis is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, with a Major in Economics. He has also has achieved the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation, and has been a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) for over 25 years. He has been licensed as a Portfolio Manager since 2006, and is now recognized as a Senior Portfolio Manager for RBC Wealth Management. Dennis has been married to his wife Wendy for over 30 years, and has two daughters, Alison and Megan who work in finance and marketing respectively, at major corporations in Canada. The family enjoys travelling and taking "food safaris" sampling unique and interesting dishes around the world. Dennis is an avid, bordering on obsessive, golfer, despite his limited skill, and also enjoys playing ice hockey. When not at the office, Marina regularly does CrossFit, enjoys writing biographies - she is currently finishing up her father-in-law's life story - and likes to cozy up to a good book. Stephanie completed her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Commerce at the University of British Columbia. Vanessa Fontin

Vanessa's manages the schedules of our three advisors for client reviews, and helps client with administrative items on their accounts, from transferring funds to account inquires. Vanessa also handles much of the teams' documentation, and she maintains and ensures client's information and records are accurate and up-to-date. With over 10 years in the financial industry, Vanessa has extensive experience providing prompt and professional service to clients. Vanessa attended Concordia University in Montreal, where she completed her a Bachelor of Arts and Science Degree. She enjoys learning and continues to expand her investment knowledge with industry accreditation courses. As a mother of two small children, Vanessa has little free time. On occasion when her children are productively occupied she loves traveling, hiking and learning new languages. Vanessa is proficient in four languages including French and Korean and her daughter is already following in her footsteps, currently attending a French language school. Her son is practicing his soccer skills and preparing to play in World Cup 2038.

Vashti Marajdeen

Vashti has been our team Operations Manager for the past 5 years. She sets a high standard of care and service for clients, ensuring enquires are addressed in a timely manner and work flow functions operate smoothly and efficiently. She also coordinates access to RBC's unique group of planning specialists, from our in-house accountants and planners to wills and estate lawyers and trust advisors, ensuring that clients are receiving the best advice from RBC's stable of experts. Vashti previously worked in England in accounting and is a member of the Association of Chartered Accountants. She worked for many years in the Private Banking division of a major international bank, helping high net worth clients with their unique and complex needs. After moving to Canada she continued working in the banking sector and joined RBC Wealth Management in 2016. Vashti lives in Port Moody with her husband and two children. Her son is in high school and daughter attends UBC. Having grown up in the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago, she loves hot and spicy foods, Calypso music, Carnival, warm weather and the beach, and creating a mix of Caribbean and London food fusion from her unique experiences around the world. She loves playing Pickleball and can often be found on the soccer field cheering for her son who plays with AC Selects-Port Moody Team. Vashti also enjoys gardening, hiking, and exploring the many trails in the Lower Mainland.
