Christy Wyskiel is the Senior Advisor to the President of Johns Hopkins University for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. In this role, she also serves as the Executive Director of Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures, a division of the university responsible for technology transfer, corporate research partnerships, and company incubation under the brand ‘FastForward.' Since her appointment in 2013, Christy has transformed the culture of commercialization at Johns Hopkins, opening 43,000 square feet of FastForward innovation space to support startup companies, facilitating the creation of more than 150 companies, and generating over $500 million in university revenue from licensing and industry collaborations. Johns Hopkins University startups have raised over $4 billion in venture capital during her tenure. Christy is a fierce advocate for the future of Baltimore and the role that Johns Hopkins University can play in populating the city skyline with companies borne, built and grown locally.
Christy is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and ecosystem builder with over 25 years of experience primarily focused on the life sciences and healthcare industries. Prior to her role at Johns Hopkins, Christy co-founded two Baltimore based startups and served as a formal and informal advisor to many others. Prior to that, Christy worked as an institutional investor where she had a long track record of successful investing in both public and private companies.
In 2018, the Baltimore Sun named Christy as one of 25 Women to Watch. Christy serves on the Maryland Life Sciences Advisory Board, working across sectors to drive Maryland's preeminence in the life sciences industry. Christy was one of the founders of UpSurge in 2021, a new initiative to create equity among startup founders from every background, ensuring they have financial support, mentorship and connections to the larger Baltimore ecosystem to accelerate their success. She also co-chairs Baltimore's Next Generation Investing Event, an organization she co-founded in 2009, which has raised over $1,500,000 for four K-12 education initiatives in Baltimore City. In 2015, Christy served as a member of the Maryland Economic Development and Business Climate Commission, known as the "Augustine Commission." In 2014, she was added to the Board of Trustees of the Abell Foundation and the Baltimore Development Corp. From 2012-2014, she served on the board of the Maryland State Retirement Plan (MSRP), which oversees $3 billion in defined contribution assets of state employees. She was part of Leadership Maryland's 2016 Class.
Christy has a BA in Economics and German from Williams College and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University. She lives in Baltimore City with her husband and her cat. In her free time, she enjoys studying Italian, Baltimore's farmers' markets, biking, yoga, Pilates and reading historical fiction.

Dr. Sashank Reddy is Associate Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Medical Director of Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures. Dr. Reddy received his undergraduate degree with University Honors from Johns Hopkins where he studied Biology and Humanistic Studies as one of the University's Beneficial Hodson Scholars. He went on to complete his MD and PhD studies at Harvard Medical School under the auspices of the NIH Medical Scientist Training Program. Dr. Reddy's thesis work on posttranslational control of the cell cycle was accomplished in the laboratory of Marc Kirschner. His current research efforts center on mechanisms of regeneration and homeostasis in skin and development of nanomaterials to support tissue regeneration and cell delivery. His discoveries have been published in leading journals including Nature, Cell, Cell Stem Cell and Science Translational Medicine. Dr. Reddy is also an accomplished entrepreneur and biomedical innovator. Earlier in his career he was at Third Rock Ventures where he served as a member of the founding team at Eleven Biotherapeutics (NASDAQ: SESN). He is currently founder and President of LifeSprout, Inc., a privately-held company developing novel synthetic analogues of soft tissue for reconstructive and aesthetic medicine. In his role as Medical Director of Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures, Dr. Reddy advises faculty and University administration on enhancing the impact of discoveries through new company creation and corporate partnerships. Dr. Reddy's overall aim is to integrate science, medicine, and entrepreneurship to advance patient care.

Helen Montag is Senior Director for Ecosystem Development at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures (JHTV), the commercialization arm of the University. In this role, she is responsible for strategic efforts to grow the innovation ecosystem in Baltimore, leveraging Johns Hopkins' relationships and infrastructure to attract and retain talent, companies, real estate investment and other forms of resources to support researchers and startups in and around Baltimore. Helen began this role in January 2021.
Helen has been at Johns Hopkins since 1999 and throughout that time has been involved in strategic efforts to advance Johns Hopkins' innovation agenda. When JHTV was formed in 2014 to centralize commercialization and entrepreneurship activities, Helen was charged with the creation of a best-in-class Corporate Partnerships function to maximize campus research collaborations with industry partners. She built and led the JHTV Corporate Partnerships team for eight years, sourcing, shaping and managing an industry partnerships portfolio that brought over $120 million in sponsored research funding to Johns Hopkins researchers. Earlier in her career at Johns Hopkins, she developed the Johns Hopkins Alliance for Science and Technology Development program as well as other programs that train faculty in entrepreneurship. Helen was involved in the early stages of development for the Johns Hopkins Science & Technology Park in East Baltimore, which houses the university's flagship innovation hub and dozens of startups and research/manufacturing entities.
Helen received her undergraduate degree from Harvard College, attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine, received a Master of Public Health degree at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and completed doctoral work there as well. Helen has lived in Baltimore since 1987. She was a 2018 member of the Greater Baltimore Committee (GBC) Leadership Program. She has been on the boards of The Family Tree, the Roland Park Community Foundation and the Bryn Mawr School. She spent 12 years on the board of Samuel Ready Scholarships, a Baltimore based non-profit which provides full tuition for girls from disadvantaged backgrounds at Baltimore area private schools, the last two as president.

Liz Burger serves as Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures. In this role, she ensures that JHTV's resources are deployed effectively to enhance commercialization and innovation activities across the university and in the region.
Prior to joining JHTV, Liz served as Executive Director/President of Evergreen Health Care, a post-Affordable Care Act health services startup organization. Liz also worked in a business consulting capacity at L.E.K. Consulting, where she conducted investment diligence analyses and provided strategic insights to companies in the retail and consumer products, life sciences, industrials and aviation industries. Liz is passionate about the role that all sectors can play in driving social change and has consulted on projects related to nonprofit fundraising, social entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility.
Liz holds a bachelor's degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University and an M.P.A. from New York University's Wagner School of Public Service.

Myra Norton leads the acceleration team at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures, working to accelerate technologies, companies and ecosystems in and around Johns Hopkins University, with a particular focus on Baltimore. Prior to joining JHTV, Myra was President and CEO of Arena Analytics, a technology company that helps organizations vitalize, stabilize, and diversify their workforces to improve organizational performance and impact. Previously, she was the CEO of Community Analytics, an analyst at Northrop Grumman, a professor in Mathematics and Statistics at Temple University, Towson University, and the US Naval Academy, and an Administrator in the College of Science & Technology at Temple University.
She serves as Immediate Past Chair on the Executive Committee of TEDCO, an organization founded to serve and expand the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the State of Maryland. She also chairs the Career and Technical Education Committee of the Governor's Workforce Development Board and serves as a Board Member for Central Scholarship, a non-profit dedicated to providing equitable access to fulfilling careers through education.
Norton has been featured as a presenter, speaker and facilitator at several industry events such as the AHA Leadership Summit, ACHE Congress on Healthcare Leadership, SXSW, and several Modern Healthcare events. She has collaborated with researchers from Harvard University, Babson College, University of Virginia, the National Institutes of Health, University of Maryland, and the University of Chicago.
Norton graduated from the University of Alabama as a Faculty Scholar, earning a BS in Math Education, and was then awarded a Future Faculty Fellowship and earned an MA in Mathematics and an MS in Statistics at Temple University.
