DALLAS

Every year in June, the Dallas Chamber Symphony hosts the Dallas International Music Festival and Competition, which in successive years, focuses on pianists and violinists. The annual event is comprised of two separate, but concurrently running parts; 1) an international "Pro" competition for classically trained performers aged 18 to 35 (inclusive) who are ready to launch a solo career, and 2) a "Youth" festival of performances and masterclasses for those aged 15 to 18 (inclusive) and residing in Texas, who have reached an advanced level of performance on their instrument.
